northernstar007 said:quick update, ive been in chat with monument and they were great
they confirmed the funds have been transfered only 1 snag the interest from virgin is not as much as i was expecting, so they are going to chase it up
also informed me the isa inc funds should be showing on my app in the next 48hrs and i asked of the interest rate and it is still 4.76%
so far so good
Till 29th."Your Easy Access Cash ISA interest rate will change from 4.76% to 4.25% AER (variable).
This change will take effect on 29 May 2025 . You will continue to benefit from your existing rate until then."1 -

I was expecting a drop at any time soon, but not by 0.51%. Started looking at what's currently available and will monitor my other existing ISA accounts now, might be worth grabbing a few 4.5% and keep monitoring for another week before deciding on transfers out of Monument.

Till 29th.I wasn't expecting such a steep drop. Am currently in the middle of a transfer from Trading 212 to Monument. There doesn't seem much point anymore, but I think I'll wait and see if Transfer 212 announce another drop from 4.35% to 4.1% for existing customers. They only dropped theirs from 4.5% to 4.35% 2 weeks ago.

Now the rates dropping I’ll be going elsewhere when my money eventually gets returned to Zopa. Had to ring up Monument again as they gave me wrong reference (CISA) number. I give them one thing they’re pretty easy to deal with on the phone compared to Zopa.My wife started the transfer of the MiLs ISA to Monument a week after I initiated mine and it completed yesterday (14 days). Without incident. Maybe I was just unlucky.0

Transferring out in full from Monument now because of their rate drop. I don’t think I will miss them, what after my less than positive experience with the transfer in. I am still waiting to hear back about the complaint I raised but I am only 3,weeks into the 8 week complaints period so they might be a while0

Even though they had originally told me they would re-open the closed account.Suprise suprise, today I get another email from them after me chasing for access to my money. They’ve told me they’ve sent the funds back to Zopa because they’ve used the reference for the old account 🤦♀️. Well of course they have because that was the correct account. So, still no further forward in accessing my funds, which I actually need to do. I’ve had to take funds out of a higher paying account so have also now asked for some form of compensation for this bonkers situation. They’ve already confirmed they’ll be paying interest from 12/05.1
