You can see the GP same day with BUPA rather than wait 2 weeks with the NHS, but that means you get your medication quicker and you're back to health quicker.
I can make same day appointments with my NHS GP.
Where is that, two to three weeks if you are lucky where I am. The odd occasion you might get lucky or an emergency appointment.
    West Yorkshire.

I’m in Leeds. Can usually get a GP appointment pretty quickly.

If you were a young GP, would you rather live somewhere where you can buy a house or somewhere where you cannot? I could go on, but God's own county has a lot to be said for it. If you do not have skills that are highly marketable anywhere in the country, considerations will be different.

Am I right in thinking that to get the £15 monthly fee waived the £5000 monthly payment can just be transferred in from say another bank or savings account and then transferred back out?

On paper this won’t work, Lloyds say they will “let you know” if you don’t pay in £5000 correctly. I’d just say try it.

Yes, that is correct. That is what I've been doing for the past year with Club Lloyds and what I'm going to do with the Premier account. I have a standing order each month which pays £5k in and another standing order which transfers most of it back out.

I don't think this trick would work if you just transferred in from another Lloyds account.

It does with Club Lloyds. I send £1.5k to a classic account, and transfer it to CL

I suspect it will suffice for the fee waiver, but I'd be less confident Lloyds will view it as sufficient for maintaining eligibility.

I think it would. It's not like other premier accounts, which specify a certain annual salary.
