    From the meter

last weds when the meter was corrected …

    peak 000214 …. Today …. 00233

    off peak 00478 … today  00478

so looks like all is working ok

I am going to read my actual meter once a week

Ihd is quite accurate , so will be checking that throughout the week

thank you once again everyone , you have all been so helpful

So say Wed - Tues - 6 days +/- depending on when updated when readings taken

    SC = 59.4p
    Peak used 233-214 = 19 kWh / say 6 days = 3kWh - not a lot - at 38p / kWh = £1.14
    Off peak used 478-478 - 0 ??

I make that roughly £1.80 per day rates used above inc VAT

You sure - those were readings and that register 2 is actually working for the 10 hours 12-5 1-4 and 8-10 GMT.
As over 10 hours - and over 5 to 6 days might have expected even a fridge to burn through over a kWh overnight - so 6 nights - 30 hours - let alone all your normal household activity in afternoon / evening sessions. Say washing machine a few times per week etc - in those off peak slots.
Plus even although no NSH perhaps - what about hot water heating overnight etc - would expect that to  be 2-3 kWh per day on its own for 2.

    So 625-478 = 147 / 6 = c25 at 14.5 = 3.60 per day.

Add to my £1.80 above - approx £5.40  per day since meter fixed until yesterday

Yesterday to today - assuming roughly same time reads -
    3 peak at 38.128 = £1.24(4)
    15 off peak at 14.481 = £2.17(2)
    1 sc = 59.(44) p

Approx total = oops edit £4.00 or £4.01 £5.00 or £5.01 depending on rounding.

Note edf will always be daily register snapshot iirc just after midnight utc time iirc other thread discussions.

Confused by the 4 readings on last years bill(*).  But your fix rates were c8p and c4p cheaper roughly - but for that total period you appear to have been billed.

(*) Guessing your rts and normal feed both had dual rate meters ?

    £521.26/98 = £5.32 per day
    476+7 = 483 kW peak  / 98 days = 4.9 kWh peak per day
    124+2931 = 3055 night /98 days = 31 kWh off peak per night

Given you have shifted 5 "daytime" hours use of the 17 hours of e7 peak to off peak on e10 the 5 to 3 seems reasonable.

The 31 to 15 off peak yesterday but c25 in last 6 days to yesterday - maybe because the longer off peak boosts - afternoon and evening - are still maintaining room temps better at lower thermostat settings on iirc at least one of your 2 heaters since went e10.  (From an earlier thread if not above)

Not a million miles away in other words from last years use or cost.

Hopefully the combined kWh savings will last to offset the higher e10 charge rates.

    Latest from the saga

I have been able to further review your account today.

I have noted that from 1st-9th April you were charged: £76.91

    84 kWh @ off peak 14.841p = £12.47

    169 kWh @ peak 38.128p = £64.44

    £12.47 + £64.44 = £76.91

Whereas this should have been charged at: £57.10

    84 kWh @ peak 38.128p = £32.02

    169 kWh @ off peak 14.841p = £25.08

    £32.02 + £25.08 = £57.10

    Therefore we overcharged you £19.81.

I have emailed back and said I was not as simple as rates needing reversed , see what they say

They have all my photos from meter … they don’t seem to understand my afternoon and evening boosts ALL went on peak read on meter !

    I wrote

on 2nd April showed  my PEAK rate at 00056  … then on the 9 th … 000214

So from meter being installed on march 19 th (0000kwh )  to 2nd of April I used 00056 kWh

but after 9 days of meter issue starting  you are saying in used 158 kWh … for 9 days !!!  I don’t think so
