eBay simple delivery (merged)

If you want somehting daft- then how about this!
I just went to one of my private accounts and listed a couple of letter and large letter sized options- I still don't have any option to list them with simple delivery- even if I wanted to, the option is not there.
I then tried sell similar with a parcel sized item, and again simple delivery does not show at all.
I do usually try and see the positives in changes, remain optimistic, but I can't see how this is all suddenly going to get fixed and working correctly in a week or so.
I do often out weights in on my items, but I rarely fill out dimensions as I just use my business policies to choose the appropriate postage for the size- so the chances of ebay knowing that item A fits in a small parcel box, but item B needs to go as medium is unlikely. How many failed labels, or people being turned away from RM is there going to be?
EDIT the system is definitely borken. I just used the sell similar to literally sell a similar item and this time I was offered the choice of simple delivery!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I use Drop and Go for my parcels, or I have done until now. I was looking at closing my business account and using my personal account, but not sure this is a wise move now. I may stick with my business account. I think this could further drive away private sellers, which in turn deters them from buying. Traffic will fall through the floor if it hasn’t already0

I know I'm in a minority, but I always put my private eBay sales through my business post and it all got collected. It's going to be a right pain for me to have to go to a post office now for the private ebay stuff.0

One other thing that is perhaps being overlooked is the despatch time. At the moment sellers can choose their own despatch time, and a fair few private sellers go for 4 or 5 days to give themselves breathing room. Simple postage seems to be stuck on 3 days, and I don’t know if that can be over ridden. So sellers who aren’t paying attention to the email re the new scheme will see themselves set up with Evri and RM postage and a 3 day despatch.
Since it is possible for a seller to remove Evri or RM as an option, I suspect there will be a way to change the despatch time as well, but at a quick glance it isn’t obvious if it is there.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Just seen a video posted this morning by a seller with private and business accounts and there seems to be problems with both types of accounts.
I'm not sure if YT links are allowed but it can be found if you search " THE LATEST EBAY !!!!!! UP ebay Reseller UK"

On a different forum someone has posted a statement that they found in one of the announcements explaining about free postage.
“ "If you have chosen to offer free delivery, you agree that the delivery costs owed to eBay will be deducted from your account. You agree that no further delivery costs are owed to you by your buyer for the Simple Delivery label provided to you."
I still don’t think that is well written , but it implies that eBay will charge seller for the label regardless of whether it is used or not.
