When they mention "opting out" - would opting out mean I can continue using my preferred method (RM stamps)?
I've tried to find info about this but find it all very confusing.
TIA for any replies.
It depends if ebay decides your listing constitutes "low value, lightweight, bulky items in certain categories" whatever any of that means specifically.
It's as clear as mud but it looks like under £10, letter weight, or over 1m in length.1 -
Many thanks for your reply. I guess light users like me are not the kind they're hoping for.0

I noticed I still seem able to opt out still for all sales.
On previous post, if you’re using stamps then suggests to me letter or large letter where you can opt out of SD if <100g in any case.

Wondered if anyone had yet had experience of how opting in our out of specific courier works yet?
Specifically I went on to my account and selected to use RM only for SD, and have subsequently listed a couple of items. I’ve got a larger item to
list where it might be better to use Evri from a cost perspective to a buyer, but I’m wondering what would happen to my existing listings if I changed my settings whilst listing this item to allow both, and then potentially changed back afterwards. Are the preferences item specific or whatever is in force at the time of sale?0 -
To add a separate point reference my one above , I have a draft listing created. Item weighs 2.5kg, so SD defaults to up to 15kg and says delivery from £10.55. A quick look online says it should be about half that RM , Evri or anyone really. How are you meant to sell anything with those rates.

Thank you, I've just submitted my NI number.
I'm not a business seller but this makes me wonder if they suspect I am running a business.0
