Thanks everyone for your help. I have just submitted my comments to POPLA in line with the above so will let you all know the outcome.

    Thanks again.

Hi we have received a similar fine for using the same KFC for charging our car for 30 mins at 8am two weeks ago. Please let us know how your POPLA appeal goes. This feels extremely unfair. Thanks

It certainly is beyond unfair, it absolutely stinks!

I have just checked on the POPLA website and it is still pending their assessment. It did say though that it could take 6-8 weeks from the initial date of the appeal.

I would challenge the initial PCN and get the ball rolling. I will update on here as soon as I receive a response/decision from POPLA.

    Morning All.

Final update on the status of this. I received my decision yesterday from POPLA and my appeal has been unsuccessful which I am really disappointed about. I will post some screen shots of the assessors notes.

I assume I now need to pay it in full or is it worth pursuing with Citizens Advice?

Most people here will tell you not to pay it, meaning let a future court decide on the outcome,  only pay them if a judge orders it

Just because you lost at Popla doesn't mean that you wouldn't win a court claim

Don't bother with Citizens Advice,  stick to the advice on this forum
