Thanks @PennysIntoPounds it was good customer service and I have stashed the wine away

Thanks @amber03 I hope you are lifted out of your low mood soon. I didn't buy a paper this weekend ( I like to treat myself to a physical one at the weekends) but all the front pages were so depressing
Thanks @jackieblack your step-by-step approach sounds like a good one
The little monthly market I was looking forward to did not take place due to the weather conditions. I met a friend to go with. I planned to meet for half an hour. I didn't seem to be able to get away so it was an hour and a half. She has a medical appointment tomorrow so I said I would help with her dog. Not doing great on the boundaries there. I will renew my efforts.
I did well on my free electricity hours. I have been searching for the extension cord so I can maximise the dehumidifier for weeks. Finally found it!
two tray-bakes of veggies and chicken
dehumidifier
dishwasher
laptop charged and fully and software update done
phone charged
I did not run the heater for a few hours as it isn't cold enough here
I did not bake bread or more cake as I am consuming carbs at an astonishing rate. Note to self: Cake is not a food group!
I saved on not buying a paper and there not being a market, so just a £4 spend so far. Tomorrow will be a NSD. I have yoga but that is already paid for.

So, I had my first decent sleep in a few days so I am settling down.
Yoga today, and I feel like not going, so definitely a low mood reaction as I love my Sunday yoga and always feel better for it, so I will be ignoring the 'don't bother' signals and going anyway.
A little road trip after yoga so I will be taking a flask and a snack as today is a NSD for me.
Living area looks like a bomb hit it, but I 'put the kitchen to bed' last night and it is all lovely this morning. Going to at least clear the dining table before yoga

I always find this time of year very positive. There is a physical sense of time passing and change happening which I like to match to.

So, low mood won, and I did not make it to yoga. There did not feel like enough time alone before my trip with friend where I agreed to dog sit. Anyway trip done. Friend asked if I wanted to go back to hers or out to coffee, but no, I just wanted to be at home. She gave me a big bag of quinces from her tree. Not sure what to do with them. Any suggestions anyone?
Slow cooker on before I went out so a nice stew in red wine
Kitchen already put to bed
Dining room table cleared.
Ironing packed away
WM loaded ready to turn on in the morning
Bed changed
Loo fixed
An hour's ironing done in the free electricity hour, plus dehumidifier and an hours heating. Not bad. I told a friend and she is going to transfer so I need to make sure I get a referral bonus on my account.
Pleased I succeeded in a NSD
Tomorrow won't be a NSD as I need ahem, upholstering, so off to marksies. Will take a flask on the walk there and have a coffee watching the sea.
Let the new week commence!

Hope you and your upholstery needs have a fabulous new week (picturing William Morris bras now, why is this not a thing?!)
And hope that the flask coffee and sea lift the low mood. Is there anything nice you can plan for yourself for tomorrow evening to look forward to, to start the week off treating yerself nice?

Quinces - either make jelly or just put them in a bowl and enjoy the smell!2

Quinces - although they take longer to cook than apples, if you cut them up very small & mix with apples, they make a lovely addition to a crumble.

You could always do a yoga class online to make up for the missed class.I’ve never had a quince. It makes me think of the poem The Owl and the Pussycat 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Quince paste. Just watched a video where she made one. Apparently it is eaten traditionally with something but can't remember. Cheese maybe?2
