Thanks @PennysIntoPounds @Tresinia511 and @Watty1 as you have all said in different ways, it is 'her loss' but it is my loss too..I am still unsettled about it all...processing will take time. I have known this person for nine years, believe it or not that counts as a newish friend for me
Anyway I am putting that friendship behind me...I release you with love and all that...
Being a proactive sort of person I thought what I need to do is cultivate new friendship where I live so I invited someone I know to tea and cake at mine next week. I also realised the friend that wants to spend more time with me than I would like is lovely, I just need to be clearer about when I am available and when I am not. Long story short we are going for a walk on the beach in a few days with the dog. I also said to bring a flask as I will be cutting down on cafe coffees this month.
Money-wise I paid off the requested balance on the cc. The reason I am struggling with the budget is I am paying off £100s each month to the cc. It isn't doable, so I am working on this.

Really pleased with cake tins. They are old and stainless steel and huge and very deep. Must be for wedding cakes. I am using as bases for my plants so I can water them from the bottom as the big one is too heavy to move. Really pleased with dressing gown as it is the fraction of the price of the posh one I want, so I can wait until the posh one is on sale now
The candles are soy. I know the shop owner and asked if she could make me a batch with essential oils instead of perfume. I could also name my own scents. Very pleased with them. The next step will be picking up vintage tureens and making my own!!
The massage I had today was excellent. I will be having one every 3 weeks.
Now I am recording everything I spend I can see where my money is going I can see I need some NSDs. Tomorrow will be a NSD

I do admire the way you reflect and process the things that happen in your life. I am trying, but my tendency is to react far too quickly and try and fix things.
Regarding candles - is it as simple as adding essential oils to the wax or does it need anything else to keep it stable or allow it to be incorporated? I have several small paint pot style tins from a local candlemaker. I love some of their candles but I also want proper strong lavender ones and theirs, and others, always seem to be weak or mixed with other fragrances that I do not want so I was thinking to make my own using lavender oil.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Those sound like good spends and a good mental attitude.
Well done on paying the CC. Is that it now or is there more debt to tackle?
Great work telling friend to bring a flask. Boundaries are everything!https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

Brazen effrontery!2

Are we allowed to ask what the item was that you repurposed so you can inspire us too please?2

Thanks @joeyjimbles I think using essential oil is not entirely straightforward. I know my candlemaker had to get it to 'stabilise' My new plan is to make some candles fragrance free, then I will burn essential oils in a burner. It seems easier...
You are welcome @in_need_of_direction check they are water tight before using.
Thanks @PennysIntoPounds I'm glad you labelled the cc as 'debt' because it is, but it seems to be a blind spot to me. I'm going to check the new outstanding balance tomorrow.
Thanks @humdinger 'brazen effrontery' will be used by me in the very near future, along with @PennysIntoPounds's favourite 'flagrant' Actually, it is flagrant brazen effrontery!
Thanks @janB5 I don't think I can say unfortunately. It would be too identifying and despite wanting to put the friendship behind me I wouldn't want her to see herself on these pages

Sorry!! @LzzyIsGod @janb5 Wish I could but it would be too revealing. You will both have to live with your curiosity...janb5 said:Good point and I totally endorse that thought!
So I have been having dreams where the things I am upset or worried about are coming out. That is good. That is what dreams are for.
Putting all the things given to me by friend in a box to deliver along with the item requested back. Not actual presents, just things given. It has prompted a mini declutter so that is good too.
Chased plumber who hasn't billed me for last visit
Despite thinking I had financially reconciled I was still OD so had to transfer funds AGAIN. Not great...but at least I had the funds to transfer...
I am spending on default. I have already thought of a few things I 'need' today. No, I don't I'm having a NSD
To Do
BB change plug and send off old
BB check account
CC check
I am going to suggest my candlemaker does a candle making course
I suggested yoga studio do a trial for people to try before committing to a class
I can feel my brain is feeling creative as I am thinking for ideas for other people!
Today, I will be going for a walk, making soup, make a salad. I keep saying I will bake a cake and not baking it. If I do cake I should also put a loaf of bread in as well...Hmmm..if not today, tomorrow
Have a good day everyone
