Dia, you didn't give that impression. It's your home,  your rules and at the end of the day your comfort and wellbeing in your own home is paramount.  Nice that the man guest helped, and you should always follow your instincts.  It's a very personal experience having others in the sanctify of your own home and I think you have been very brave in welcoming people in. Every day is a school day, goes the old saying!

It is your home and your hard-won sanctuary so you absolutely get to decide who comes into it for your peace of mind etc. Though having had this positive experience, you might permit a male guest as long as there is also going to be a female guest at the same time? Or simply make an exception if this particular guest is to return.
I think protecting your peace is paramount.

The latest guests sound ideal for you and an added bonus you got some help too.

Sounds like you have a lovely curry and a good day tomorrow to look forward to.

Curry sounds😋😋😋. Can't help with the tech stuff I'm afraid I get in a pickle with it too ha ha. Speaking of costume jewellery,  could you use vintage cash cow,  who pay for various house hold items,  including jewellery? I know you have an eye for nice things and also you love a good de- clutter, so maybe worth a look
