Great news on the mattress improving things and the veg box!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

Thanks @beanielou@Sun_Addict@Skint_yet_Again@jwil
So, the Swedish store does not have the duvets, so I cancelled the whole order.
I switched to JL. I had to pay an extra £10 each for duvets from JL, that said they are an extra 5 tog each. I think I prefer that as it is still a bit chilly even now...The mattress protectors were on offer so that saves a bit. Overall, the amount isn't that different. I bought two sets of towels on offer too, so a bath, hand and flannel X2 for £13 somewhere else today. Really nice, thick cotton so I am pleased.
I did want luggage racks. I don't like suitcases on beds...
Anyone have one they can recommend?
I bought extra loo roll and cleaners and cloths but want to buy a mop, one of those window wipers that can be used in the shower...
So, if I add to the towels, a bunch of peonies from marksies, my NSD evidently did not happen.
I have a tiny bit of filling missing from my shower tiling. I keep thinking, surely I can do that? Rather than paying someone else to do it? ...I might post on the DIY bit of the thread...
I did tally my cc debt. I am ok with it. I need a gas safety check so that will be added to the card. Breathe out.
I ordered a filter jug to stop my plastic water bottle purchases that are expensive and take up space.
I was due at my sewing class over an hour ago, but don't feel like it, so staying home.

Just my opinion dia, but jl wins over ickeea for me. Sounds as though you are all prepped for your visitors!4

Where did you get your towels? I usually get them from M n S but obviously not just now. They are dry quick ones and they are very reasonably priced.Jealous of the peonies as they are my favourite.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Thank you @Tresinia511 that store has the edge for me too
Peonies are one of my favourite flowers too @beanielou. The towels, surprisingly were from Mr M
@borefest hopefully normal service will be resumed soon...
Today has been a NSD. Hoorah!!
I discovered roasted cauliflower in the air fryer is delicious!
I streamlined the living area. All the books for decluttering are in the lobby.
Washing up liquid spilt in the bag for online shop. I whinged to them and now have a £7 voucher and the WUL refunded...
It felt a bit cold and damp so I had the heating on for 30 minutes.
I made peace with a family relative...a small falling out, but I feel better for clearing the air
I am debating whether to pay more off the cc which will leave a tight month, or leave it until next month...
Going to keep going with ensuring the living room and kitchen are left clean and tidy tonight!
I hope everyone has had a good enough day

That sounds a very good day indeed. Especially the clearing the air with relative. Makes life much better to not have dark clouds in the background doesn't it. Although you are not now re-opened as a family cashpoint! 😂 Seriously though, well done you 😊5
