Good luck with the receipt mountain @Skint_yet_Again. I gave up on my lost receipt. I will take it back without the receipt and if I get nowhere it will go to charity as I refuse to give space to things I don't want!
Up early, wash load on and out drying
Cooked Ethiopian lentils
Made a batch of mixed peppers humous
Quick catch up call with a friend
Not energised today...however, I forced myself out of the door. I took the bus to the SM to buy fresh produce.
I sat in my guest room for a while as it is beautifully sunny. I've decided to spend a few nights there, starting tonight. I keep forgetting I can do what I want as it is my home! My own room is messy as I need a slim wardrobe to prevent clothes all over the place!
This week I am back to yoga. There is a class tomorrow morning so I will start with that.
GETTING ORGANISED
One of the good things about my 'enforced wanderings' as @satchmo1 called it is seeing how others do things. So, from now on the kitchen will be spotless at the end of the day and the living area straightened up. Washing machine loaded and turned on in the morning. It is SO nice to come down to a clean kitchen! Another friend calls it 'putting the house to bed'
Frog of the day (morning)- chase pp

Dia, reading your ongoing account of daily life, I get the feeling that you are in a stabilising period. Your days are more organised, you seem calmer, more at peace. But the underlying effects of your '"enforced wanderings" are clearly still visible, with your quite emotional account of spending time in your own guest room, treating it as a luxury🙃. It shows how hard won this gift of your own home is and what it means to you. It must feel liberating to be on this steady path, and I feel happy for you x

Thanks @Skint_yet_Again unfortunately I paid cash
Thanks @beanielou mornings are easier when I prep the house at night
Thank you @Tresinia511 you are right I do think having a spare room is a luxury. However, in the end I cleaned up my own bedroom and slept in there!
A NSD as will be going to a different yoga class this week.
I moved things around in the house. I cleaned my bathroom...so many products! I've grouped them. I thought about signing up to a beauty box. Another diarist said they had gone downhill. I will save the money and use up what I have.
A short post today.
I hope everyone is having a good enough start to the week.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Do you have an unused box that you could turn into your beauty box for the month? So easy to keep things 'for special', or not get round to using bits. Might be fun and mse to allocate an item from each group and make yourself use and enjoy them as if they'd been sent randomly!
And then if you find yourself strongly resisting using something you know it's not for you and might be able to get a couple of quid selling it..5 -
Thanks @PennysIntoPounds I do use the special stuff. Nothing kept for best! Posh products make me feel good but I buy them only when offer and not at all over the past few years.
I have sorted into a box of new/unused items.
I won't sell any. I have too many nieces who would jump at the toiletries so will leave for when they visit. They can select things to use and then take home with themIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I know I sound tight but could you save those toiletries for their birthdays/Christmas if you get them gifts?4
-
You don't sound tight at all @PennysIntoPounds It is a money saving forum!
Good point. I will store the new/unused products and add them to gift parcels.
I've lost my mojo over the past few days. I still don't have the small pp sorted. One part of the organisation said I need to send additional info the other part said no, it is fine. Still not paid out so will talk to someone tomorrow and see who needs the information. I need it to pay out..This is my MONEY GENERATING ACTION.
I signed up for a course at the local college ... five weeks on motivation and goal setting. I hope I can be bothered to go (that last bit was a joke by the way)
Tomorrow I will write to the Cllr to confirm details of our meeting. I also need to dig out my boundary papers, that show the properties that use the alley. I need to talk to my immediate neighbours about the alley too. My paperwork is in such a mess it will probably take me all day to find
I bought topsoil, big pots, some lavender plants and a few other plants I don't know the name of...looking forward to planting them up tomorrow. I like the front of the house to look nice as I've had so many compliments on my pots I feel the pressure to keep it going! A lovely friend came to pick me up from Morreys to drop me home
I hope you've had a good day reader
