Dia, I admire your ability to plan and execute so many practical things at once while still finding time and energy for ideas and creative thinking. I'm highly practical myself but completely useless at anything remotely creative. I don't think I've had a creative thought in my head since I designed and made my then 4 year oldest easter bonnet for the nursery parade, 28 years ago (P.s. it won!) The one and only creative success in my whole life😁6

Why are you scared about your idea? Remember all the times you felt the fear and did it anyway? And it turned out great! Remember the old saying, Fortune favours the bold...5

Haha @Tresinia511 thank you and well done on your prize winning Easter bonnet!
I am upping my creative endeavours. I live near a stunning library and will go there from next week for 2 days a week, to work there. It will help as library days will be NSDs and the walks there and back, will up my exercise!

Good question @Tresinia511 I often start off feeling fearful about big, new things. That is why I have the username I do. I rarely let being afraid stop me, but I listen to it for a bit. Sometimes fear and anxiety get mixed up as they are close to each other. Sometimes fear is telling me to exercise caution, so I unpack that. The danger is I stay 'in fear' for too long, so it is good to 'put it out there' on here, and sit with it for a while...see if any obstacles come up, or whether I am just being a wuss and need 'to get on with it'
I haven't got going this morning because I'm waiting for a delivery! Annoying...but I'm doing other things...- cleaning and reorganising (and ok, a tiny bit of faffing...)
- made a cauliflower and kale soup. Came out brilliantly
- pressure cooked some beans
- shopping list
Reading diaries and read 15p veg starts on Tuesday at Mr A. I'm going to stock up.
Happy weekend!

When I was in hotel quarantine I had a bath when I got up and before I went to bed. It was lovely and felt a bit decadent. I do stick to epsom salts though.
ETA I believe you can get filter attachments for a tap that are easy to fit4 -
So, this morning was nice catchup calls until noon.
I just rediscovered a podcast I used to be addicted to. I stopped for years because it used to be part of my Sunday. I used to keep Sundays for cooking, talking, reading, podcasts and preparing for the week ahead. I like those kind of Sundays and will bring them back!
Tomorrow I have a visitor in the afternoon, so in the morning I will go to the library and get some photocopies and deliver the letters.
There is an amazing moon. Bright, pink super moon
I can't find potting compost for the houseplantswill keep looking. When I look at my plants they say: keep looking. (I might have to order it online to shut them up)
I have a chicken and kale stew in the slow cooker.
I have not watched TV for years so thinking of reintroducing this back again for Easter. There are so many good things I have missed that I don't even need netthingy, as there are lots of things I want to watch on BBC iplayer
I have 12 days and £60 left, so need to be strict on the NSDs this week (minimum 2 days)
I went for a walk and picked up some raisins. Will make biscuits later
CC statement is inanother month of pulling in the reins to pay it off
Could be worse...
Happy Sunday

Hi I have just read all your posts and you are doing wonderfully well.
I noticed you mentioned having an occasional lodger so I thought I`d let you know that if the person has their own home where they pay council tax then you don`t lose your single persons benefit.
That could be anyone from the theatre or crew. Two of my long term ` guests` live elsewhere so one stayed with me Monday to Friday and the other goes home to Lithuania! HTH.4 -
Thank you Skint_Yet_Again The £60 (now £38, after a food shop) is indeed for food and fun.
Thank you @Janb5 for the vote of confidence and the information is good to have.
The same relative asked for a small amount of money. It is only for 3 days so I said yes. It has to come out of my £38 but I am having NSDs on Tuesday and Wednesday, so maybe that will help me...I should have said no, but I was caught off guard...never mind!
The good news is, my money generating activity has been fruitful. 'Contacting an organisation' on 11th resulted in a visit this morning. I did not really want to have international students, but there is a big college in the area. I met the organiser so I could rule it in or rule it out. In the end I said no for various reasons. But then she said what about hosting the teachers of the students. The rate is a bit higher and they are out all day (9-5), often away to other parts of the country. I would have to provide breakfast and an evening meal when they are here. They are with me for a maximum of 4 weeks and I can control when and if I accept people. I hope it will give me a structure for the day, so I start to do my creative work when they leave for the day, and stop early afternoon.
To make it financially worthwhile, I will need to use my frugal shopping and cooking skills...YS freezing starts here
I am interested in people in different countries, so, I think it might work, but if it doesn't, I tried. This isn't instead of the idea I have planned but it addresses immediate concerns.
I spent the morning cleaning and getting ready for the visitor.
I finally cleaned the bathroom! It looks so nice when it is cleaned
I walked up a steep hill to the SM and picked up some food (ok and some crisps, which are sort of food...)
A good day really, but will press on with the pp money generating idea next
I hope you have had a good start to the week reader
