Thanks @beanielou
Thanks @Tresinia511It doesn't always go to plan, but I like to have one
I spoke to the another neighbour about the alley and they agreed with the plan. I only need the last person to agree now. I will try and catch them today. Then, the letter needs preparing. That is my FROG for today. Yes, frogs are back
I woke up feeling heady due to red wine consumption yesterday. If I was with my Greek friend and family it would have been drunk with lamb over a long lunch and a small glass would have lasted over an hour. We had a bag of crisps and two glasses! No wine today! I feel better with a glass of fizz. I need to up my income so I can default to nice fizz as my go-to (weekends only)
The dry-clean only curtains are in on a hand-wash...we shall see...
This morning, I have some veggies in the pressure cooker turning into stock.
Today I will be having Greek salad, sardines (good calcium!) humous, and soup. A healthy eating day.
Veggies are cheap so I will take a walk later to stock up.
I'm going to buy some sunflower seeds and fresh yeast. I want to use my bread maker this weekend
A friend wants me to meet up this weekend. She gave me a list of her plans and they were so precise I found them stressful, so I said I'm having an unscheduled weekend and I will see her next week at some point.
I want to read a bit today too. I'd like to read in a cafe but the chairs aren't comfy. What happened to those big comfy sofa you see in 'Friends' or do I have to go to America for that set up?
Anyway, enough waffling, off to make some coffee

Happy Easter dia and hooray for 8p carrots and 15p sprouts! I know they are loss leaders but I walk past our local aldi most days and can easily pop in and buy them without buying anything else. We make our own bread. We use the ancient flours like spelt and rye, einkhorn and heritage. Doves do a good range. They tend to be wholemeal so can be heavy, I mix mine with white strong flour, then add seeds to taste. Recently had parsnip soup with fresh loaf and butter, 😋3

Thanks @Tresinia511 I got even more veggies today and some YS bags of salad, fruits and tomatoes. My fridge is groaning with goodness.
Re bread, I want to try einkhorn as it very, very, low gluten
I am still slow and a bit tired today. I hope I'm not coming down with anything...
Curtains are up at the window and are too short! Hmm, at least they washed up well. I will use them for the shorter window in the hallway, although I will need an additional curtain pole for that to happen...
I went to buy a paper and ended up with a ton of reduced veggies and salads. My fridge is overflowing...
I've been faffing today really and noticing jobs that need doing in the house.
Hoping everyone is enjoying their Saturday

Bad luck on the curtains dia but good news they can still be used3

Could you put a "sash" on the bottom of the curtains? I wish I'd asked for one on the bottom of a roman blind which when closed is very boring (it's fine when gathered up)What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?4

Thanks @Tresinia511
Thanks @satchmo1 the curtains have a specific pattern so I don't think that will work. No worries I have another window they might work for...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Just caught up after evidently forgetting to subscribe! I'm glad everything is going well, and well done for closing the bank of DIA!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3

Thank you @jwil. Yes, the bank is well and truly closed at least for the time being when I have no savings, emergency fund or buffer! I scared myself writing that sentence.
Yesterday was a NSD (obviously) I didn't walk yesterday and now I need a brisk sea walk. I've run out of coffee so will buy some of that too. I'm still on decaf and that only works for me if it is extra decent. I haven't had chocolate so will walk up to Marksies in search of a reduced price chocolate egg for myself
I used my cc to spend on this morning. The charity curtains don't work in my bedroom and the current draped over set up looks crazy and the light gets in. So, ordered some curtains that will fit. I got them from JL (I like their curtains) They were £85 on reduced for £42.50. I also bought a towel with 20% off.
I had a lovely bath this morning.
My big frog for today is setting up my printer. I was waiting until I had a desk but we are where we are. So, I will have to set it up for the day on the dining table, then pack it away. I need to print off a form to photocopy tomorrow. I've slowed down on the alley project, and I need to start getting signatures.
I've got tons of salad. Planning on salad today with a tahini dressing. I have discovered a turkey leg will fit in the air fryer. Result! So will roast it to have with salad. I'm hungry and that explains all the food excitement, so breakfast first I think.
Have a lovely BH Monday everyone

Soooo looking forward to the bedroom curtains arriving. The guest room is lovely, but my own room is a dumping ground! I want a declutterred beautiful room with fresh flowers on my dresser. I am telling you dear reader and the universe too!
I walked into town but felt surprisingly tired so took the bus back
I received a card on Saturday inviting me to a private view of an artist I made friends with in the country cottage I used to escape to sometimes in 'the wandering years' She is a wonderful artist and I own two small pictures of hers. It will be a long trip to get there. I asked my friend if I can use the cottage for one night so I can attend, and I can! Something lovely to look forward to. She is in her 80s and still producing amazing pictures. I feel quite honoured to be going.
I bought 2 pizzas reduced from £4 to £1.50 each...stocking up on YS goodies for when I am hosting. I also bought a reduced easter egg for myself! Just a little one
