Sorry about your cousin dia, that's enough to knock anyone off course. In respect of abandoning the college, well, i sense you feel a little discombobulated by that but, there has to be some advantages to being a bit older and in charge of your own time, however that looks. Think of it this way, you had the choice. And you chose to do what felt right for you at that time. For too many of us, for too much of our lives, we are trapped in situations which deny us such choices. From school, through work, families, and so on. So take it as a personal freedom which you exercised.
Well done on the yoga. Hope it helps x2 -

Thanks @Chrystal @beanielou @Skint_yet_Again @jwil @Sun_Addict much appreciated.
Thanks @MayDogsandCoffee and I will do individual forms as you suggest.
Thanks @PennysIntoPounds you have a good point. For whatever reason 'I wasn't feeling it' as the young ones say...
Thanks @Tresinia511 you are rightI did exercise personal freedom, albeit in an abrupt manner!
I did go to yoga yesterday and it was a good class I'd like to do regularly.
Today, I took a long walk to meet a friend. We had coffee, more walking and lots of talking. I felt a bit more grounded after.
I bought some essential oil to burn...orange oil for comfort...
The curtains came. They fit! and are lovely but not heavy enough and the light isn't blocked. I will buy some thermal liners at some point...
I heard from a minuscule pension who told me I had opted out. I knew I hadn't but couldn't prove it...until I found a payslip showing a pension deduction. The organisation now admit I had one (but I have discovered) they never sent it to the pension. I spoke to the pension provider today and discovered this. Now I need to get back to the organisation! It took me an hour and 10 minutes of holding and 50 minutes online!! Hate them both...this is now on my list of more things to do...- contact pp in writing to change address
- contact pp organisation
I have been being more careful with electricity and gas. Both are coming down very nicely despite my big, deep baths.
My family are all a bit in shock. I hope will not have another spate of bereavement's.
Hope everyone is ok out there

Pleased for you that the yoga was good, and that you got a grounding catch up with your friend and comforting essential oil.
The curtains fitting and being lovely have covered the two of three necessary points so you're well on your way with that!
Oh that pp attitude would get right up my nose too, if there's been a mistake then these things happen, rectify it. Lying to my face then wasting hours of my time is getting written down on the list for the ombudsman.
Sending big hugs. I'm sorry you've had another big horrible thing just when you're getting settled.
As a mate, I just want to remind you to keep your mse hat on your empathetic head and not let any family members make you feel that your security and enjoyment of life is less important than spending or lending money at this emotionally difficult time. Apologies if that sounds horrible, but you're a much nicer person than me so I don't want anyone taking extra liberties with our DIA! x
P.s. we are the young ones 😁

I’ve subscribed to your diary and wishing you all the very best, I’m so sorry to hear of your family’s sudden loss and the dread it brings 💐4

Thank you @beanie and @Thrifymiss
Thank you @PennysIntoPounds yes the pp issue is peeing me off. I resent having to sort it all out. I'm also aware that had I not had the payslip as evidence they would have got away with it Grrhh
And thanks for being a mateI can assure you, the bank of DIA is closed and I won't be guilt tripped into pulling up the shutters
It is cold again.
I am sitting in a messy home, a result of being fed-up. If I don't straighten things up the chaos will feed back to me and make me even more fed-up so I am going to tackle it. I have compost bags blocking my hallway.(My hallway is the size of two wardrobes)
A friend is visiting on Saturday so I will get her to help me move them to the back garden. I have a bag for the cs in the hallway. I will take that and drop it off when I leave the house. The dining table has turned into a dumping zone to the extent that I ate my breakfast with my plate balanced on my lap. Will change that. I have to verify my identity for the electoral register so will take a walk to do that.
I have an author reading this evening. Might go... Course this morning, but not going
My railcard has expired. It has gone up to £35. It is £80 for 3 years. So £25 saved if I can do it in one go, but £80 now? It is like the insurance being cheaper if paid in one go... @mark55man talks about a stupid tax for when you make silly mistakes that end up costing, or a lazy tax for when you don't get your tax return in on time...this feels like a poor tax!
I don't have the energy to do some of the important things that need doing but will do a few easy wins that will get me moving!- tidy kitchen
- clear dining table
- drop off cs bag
- walk to council offices to sort out electoral register
- brief email sent to pp

Dia take things easy. Since moving you have probably been non stop, as was I, running on adrenaline. You are in it for the long haul now so by all means make a list but don’t expect to do it all in one day and don’t beat yourself up about it. I will be glad when my spare room wardrobe is rebuilt now the room has been decorated and new carpet is in. Then all the stuff can go back in and I can straighten up my bedroom and clear my kitchen table. It will probably take me at least a week. Rome wasn’t built in a day 😉0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thanks @Skint_yet_Again You are right. I know I am expecting to get through too much. In reality the list for the day ends up trailing on for a few days...but I know what you mean about pacing...I will spread things out more. No reason why some things can't wait
Making life easier whilst I feel tired...
I got through the list except I didn't clean the kitchen. I have been washing up by hand but will use the dishwasher instead today as it is easier.
I took the bus back from the author event and usually I would have walked
I bought chippy shop chips on the way home
I bought some garlic already chopped in white wine vinegar
I've just heard there will be a mini heatwave next week. I'll probably be too hot and complaining, but I'm fed up with the cold so bring it on!

Great work, did you enjoy the author event?
But yes as @skint_spice says, don't put unnecessary pressure on yourself, you can stop adrenalining (definitely a word) now, you've achieved the lovely home of your own! 🥂
Ooh chippy shop chips.. *revises meal plan*4
