Great haul on the veg boxes!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

Sunshine_girl2 said:Sounds like a good haul there SA. Glad you have sunny weather . It’s nice here in the North East the sun is intermittent but it’s warm . Have you been going to a college again for nails to be done etc ?
Thanks @jwil really pleased with my fruit and veggie haul too
Today I walked into town. Looked for furniture and bought lots of protein for the freezer, not YS but hey ho...
Enjoying all the fresh fruits and veg and bought some yoghurt so I can have fruits and yoghurt and seeds for breakfasts.
Gorgeous day so a wash load done early. It is dry now...
Later this evening I am back at the yoga-back class.
I am in a furniture moving mood so living space has changed again...
I picked up a bright blue Le C big oval pot from the street today. I want to use it as a planter.
Tomorrow I am foraging for wild garlic in a wood with a friend. It is a long walk but should be nice
Hope you are well too readerIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Dia we have wild garlic by us! Small bulbs but amazing ly garlicky 😁great plan to get it free. We also have blackberries growing wild abundantly by us, not quite the season yet but when they come, can pick them every day fresh for breakfast. Nature's bounty!3

There is a lovely river walk here which smells like a takeaway because the whole bank is taken over by wild garlic. It’s lovely but hunger inducing.3

@doingitanyway not just a great veg box haul from the yellow and blue shop but an awesome planter find too! I hope the weather is glorious with you by the sea and you're enjoying it this week!

Thanks @PennysIntoPounds I'm so pleased with my street find. I want to plant directly into it so can't think of anything except mint, even though I already have a victorian bowl with mint...
Thanks @Tresinia511 and @WelshmansDaughter I didn't go foraging in the end as it was sweltering hot here and it is a long way to walk. Hoping the season will last a bit so I can go when the weather cools off.
Thanks @biggerpickle it is simply gorgeous by the sea. The fruits veggies are serving me well
Today I stayed close to home due to the heat. I'm rubbish in the heat. It gave me time to sort the house some more. I moved furniture about and I'm happier with the new layout. I kept removing things from the living space that didn't need to be there.
Clothes washed and out drying
Doing fewer things in a day is definitely the way to go as feeling relaxed
I had a lovely meal of air-fried turkey drumstick with a greek salad. Loving the air fryer
Yoga yesterday was great. The other good news is what I thought was going to be new 8 luxury flats will actually be a gym. It is on my road so fingers crossed it will be nice as it could literally be a game changer if it is.
A friend called asking if I wanted a stroll on the beach later. So, I will be doing that.
I hope everyone had a sunny day

Probably not, I think they like well drained soil. Even if you did an inch of grit in the bottom the roots would still be in the water. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
