I'm trying to eat from stores for the rest of the week. I just had a tin of tuna and made a chickpea flat bread...
Fruit and yoghurt in the morning, lemony lentil soup for lunch, (got lots of lemons) and some roast veggies and chicken wings for later. Taking this food hunting one day at a time....
Annoyed at myself for buying a cheap item that ended up in the bin. Cheap nearly always ends up as a false economy for me...
A house sorting-cleaning-non spending day.
There is an amazing moon tonight, so I will take my lazy bones out for a brief walk to see it
Hope you see the moon tonight too

It was too cloudy here
Hope you got to see it! "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
So, a few days have passed. I have been processing and trying to get straight in my mind
I have processed former friend and if it wasn't this it would have been something else in the future. I now think, her loss, mine too but more hers...
I have processed the family situation...
I have been sorting the house. Today I can see progress has been made and I am starting to relax...probably a bit early for relaxation as there are still things to do
I had a Saturday saunter...
I bought some lovely smoked salmon from the fishmongers
I thought about a paper but did not buy one. I haven't bought one for ages
I bought some nice fizz, just a Blanc de Blanc (on offer) as a local friend is popping in tomorrow and needs cheering up
So, not a NSD!
A funny coincidence...A while back, I bought a beautiful item from a shop. It quickly failed. I tried to return it but the shop was hardly open and in an awkward place to get to. Anyway, a new shop opened a few doors away today. I glimpsed the owner. Guess who? I just took it back for a repair. Satisfying
I'm going to be taking a break from diaries to deal with 'the family situation' but I will be back before Christmas
I will keep reading, just won't be posting
Keep on keeping on everyone

Dia I have re started buying news papers on the grounds that it's more relaxing to read news without the endless " comments " which plague online news. Works for me in a funny way. Good luck with family situation and look forward to seeing your news again soon2
