Ha ha @Humdinger love 'the gym of delusion'

Thanks @Sun_Addict I hope something like it comes up soon
Thanks @dawnybabes that is the best suggestion. I have done exactly that now. Thank you!
Thanks @jackieblack very sensible
There is a sweet little wardrobe in the SH furniture shop. Really good condition but would need painting. I have a reserve on it. Also it smells nice. Some SH furniture has been in the ownership of heavy smokers for years and it is almost impossible to get the smell out.
I cleaned one of the filter plugs in the bathroom. Gross! Totally manky...should be on my cleaning list but I seem to have missed them. Whoops. Will go around and do the plug hole filters one by one...
I shouldn't be so pleased but I looked up my CC twice just to see that I owed absolutely nothing
My complaints about my mobile provider appears to have stopped the constant cut outs. In addition they refunded me a month's payment. So, an MSE win there
I may have to travel for a family emergency, so I am getting everything ready just in case.
I slept so badly last night as I was away for the day and came back late and hungry. I was dehydrated. I ate too close to bedtime. What a disaster! Indigestion plus cramp plus insomnia! Won't be doing that again
Met a friend for a cup of tea whilst looking out to sea
Off to put the kitchen to bed

You absolutely should be so pleased with clearing the CC! I thoroughly approve of passing a couple of minutes here and there gazing lovingly at a lack of debt 😍
Marvellous news on the mobile provider.
Sorry to hear you may have to travel for a family emergency, what do you need to get ready?
Do you have a water bottle you could take out with you in future if you're going to be out for a while?
Literally everything is worse when you're dehydrated
Looking out to sea... *swoons*

Thanks @Sun_Addict you have a good weekend too
Thanks @PennysIntoPounds I always have a water bottle but I was out way too long in a car, to stop from being dehydrated. Re, 'getting ready' the usuals...case packed, hand luggage ready blah blah
I drank lots of fluids throughout the day, took magnesium, did a few stretches, and stopped eating at dark. How did I sleep as a result? Fab. No issues at all. Such a relief
Today I did what was is in my diary but got nowhere...
A lovely market? Yes, up early and there before 8 but my main stall holder was not there today. She is older so I hope she is ok. Got a coffee in a place I have never had a coffee in before to feel better about her not being there, and it was good! Nice to know for future
Bought something for £3 in a CS. When she was packing it I had the realisation that I was bringing in a big bit of plastic and did not want it in my house, so donated to another CS. It did not even make it through my front door...
Took my bike in to be fixed but bike shop closed!
So, all the things in my diary were done with no results...
The weather isn't good. Lots of on-off rain, maybe that is why no one is showing up...
I wanted a weekend paper but there is no getting away from Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, so I chose not to buy a paper at all
Later I have a sewing up-cycle class. I am tired, but might pop in to finish off taking my curtains up.
Butterbeans in the PC going to make a chicken, kale and butterbean stew
I need to go to the hardware shop but I haven't the energy...
Hoping you are all having a good Saturday

The charity shop story did make me smile, that's something I would do. It is definitely a win that you realised so quickly though! I'd have felt guilty, brought it home for a few days, and then donated it. You saved yourself the bother, and you donated to two charities in one day! Everyone's a winner.Debts 04/01/25 01/11/25

I love that about buying from one CS and immediately donating the item to another! Well done on not bringing it into your house."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

Sounds like you did a great job with your day, if factors outside of your control occur, that's nothing to do with how on it you've been.
And the money you saved not getting a paper pretty much covers the charity hokey-cokey, so budget neutral but you've made two charitable donations 🥂

Thanks @Rhyddid2026 good to know it isn't just me

Thanks @Jwil it would have been better had I engaged my brain 5 minutes earlier and not bought it at all!
Thanks @PennysIntoPounds you should be an accountant with that level of financial creativity
Yes, @beanielou he is everywhere. I am not buying a paper with him on the cover!
A good day yesterday, a concert and yoga. A decent sleep.
Very wet and windy by the sea but still very beautiful IMHO
I had an early medical appointment. I had a machine on legs and feet to test my circulation and all is well. In addition BP checked and mine was better than hers and she was early thirties
I walked back from the concert last night and noticed a change for the better at night. So, I might add an evening walk into my routine. I walked an hour yesterday, but will check as the benefits may be there with a shorter walk too. I walked to the appointment and discovered a little outdoor gym so could use that in the mornings...
I threw some bits of veggies in the SC. I have some tinned red salmon so it is a shop from home meal today. I want to run my supplies down in case I need to travel
My task today is to have my case packed, ready to go, and stored under the stairs. That is it, no other to do's for me today
I hope your week has started well

Back again to brain dump this time...
Ex friend came for 'her' item. She brought a friend with her. I wish I had thought to have a friend here with me.
I had boxed up all the things she had given me for her to take.
She actually offered me one of the items 'you can keep that'...I told her I did not want it.
She won't let me take some items remaining in her loft as she says there is nothing there. I asked if I can look but she said no. It is the end of the friendship. I worked hard at the friendship because she let me stay at hers for a while before I bought this house, but I am glad the work is over. On the other hand I feel sad that it ended the way it did. Sigh.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
