That's sad about your former friend, but that saying 'people come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime' is very true.
You've conducted yourself with love and dignity, she's been very decent to you in the past, maybe in a couple of decades you'll both be in a different place.
For now though, she is behaving like a right knobber so let her get on with it and good riddance
Great you've discovered an outdoor gym though! Even with my rubbish fitness levels and chronic pain condition, I find something very pleasing about just being able to rock up, especially when no-one's there and you're doing secret exercise, and not being pressured to do anything. You can have one go on the things you fancy and call it a day, or you can get involved in laps of your own making, or concentrate on just one thing.
I haven't been to one in yonks, you've inspired me!9 -
Thanks @PennysIntoPounds
The outdoor gym is a great find. I also enjoy walking so I can dip in and dip out of the outdoor gym and the cost to me isn't 200 a month
I'm slowly processing the end of a friendship. It's fine. There are currently 8.2 billion people on the planet. I'm sure I can find another friend who is in more in line with my values

As Te***o used to say 'every little helps' or something like that...
I'm having the posh leaf lapsang tea... I really want a glass of something exciting, but the tea will have to do this time...
I did a big fruit shop and bought some yoghurt and seeds as recently I've been eating rubbish for breakfast and it needs to stop. I bought some supplements that are needed for my low iron. I could get them on the NHS but these are gentler on the system.
In B00*ts I resisted a Clin**** gift bag worth £121 on for £44. I would have used everything in it, but I already have enough so I won't buy it but if anyone else uses that brand and needs it, it is a great offer

Hope you've woken up today feeling a bit less rubbish again, the rain of the last few days appears to have disappeared so perhaps it has with you too.

She is plainly toxic @doingitanyway! You handled it beautifully. Will you miss stuff that's in her loft? The fact she denies that any your stuff is there and won't let you check of could be considered stealing...2

Thanks @Tresinia511 I am prepping. It might not happen

Thanks @biggerpickle yes, woke felling less rubbish again
It has been very wet and windy here. It is indeed clearing
Thanks @Humdinger1 there are a few things I will miss in her loft but it makes sense to let the things (and therefore her) go as they are the only link I have to her and you can't put a price on freedom
I ran the dehumidifier over night. Hopefully it hasn't cost me a fortune.
At some stage I need to access the void under the floorboards. Pretty sure there is damp near the patio doors.
The air brick needs cleaning as does the outside wall at the bottom. I can do that at least.
I have soup in the IP already
Picking up some costume jewellery. It is junk but pretty junk. It belonged to a relative who died. The jewellery shop are attaching new silver posts. It will be nice to wear them.

Just caught up with the ex-friend drama. you handled it magnificently, even avoiding a bargain bag in boots. Friends come and friends go but the real friends that really matter stay.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -
