I always make an effort to tidy the living room and the kitchen before I go to bed. I put away the pots from the dishwasher, fold the throws and plump the cushions in the living room, remove cups, glasses, etc. Then at least both rooms are tidy ready for the next morning. It only takes a few minutes but makes such a big difference.

Yes, @spendless the added bonus is the kitchen stays clean ready for 'putting it to bed' as I am not cooking a big meal in the evening  :)

Thanks @Skint_yet_Again The money aspect has resolved itself. I'm getting a lot better when it comes to money. I genuinely don't have spare and need to stop sabotaging myself by putting others monetary pressures before my own. It was you (I think) who previously said 'just tell them to take responsibility for their own money' or words to that affect. You were right. The pressure is to do with me supporting in other ways. I can't say too much on here...

    A very busy day!

    Concentrated on the kitchen today...
decluttered a nutri bullet and lots of accessories to CS
threw out Tupperware lids and chipped glass dish bowl
washed and put away dishes X4
    sorted kitchen drawers and cupboards
hot water bottle thrown away as been using it years

Cooked roasted veggies and chickpea burgers

    Organised the airing cupboard

Several messages and time wasting trying to get mobile phone issues with provider sorted. Sooo frustrating. Giff Gaff just don't seem to be able to give a coordinated response and you cannot talk to them. Arrgh...

Going back to kitchen as there are dishes again and need it to be spotless before night falls...

Sorry family issues have reared their head again.  Hope it's resolved.

Your NT live trips sound great.

I love bossy PIP! I think everyone needs a bossy PIP in their lives. Maybe that could be a side hustle for you? I'd pay!

My parents often had a light breakfast for dinner meal at night. Or had a bowl of oatmeal and fruit in the evening instead of a larger meal. I sometimes do that too - on the nights my roommate doesn't want to cook (he likes to cook about 4 meals a week, not going to discourage him).
