Lol at that's their special offer.
As you say, exercise is free unless you want something particular, and even then depending on where you live you can access free or much cheaper swimming etc. Are there any parks nearish you that have outdoor gyms? They're quite good in that if you're in the mood for some random exercise you can have a play, and if not you've gone for a walk in a park so happy dayshttps://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

Dia that's insanely expensive for a gym, something sounds off, no pool,, no sauna , 1 shower? Can't see them getting any customers. Our la fitness centres locally all come in around £25 a month. Concession membership £20 a month with huge pool multiple showers and state is the art gym. Private gyms in hotels come in at around £45 a month, they usually have spa facilities, jacuzzi etc. 1 shower for a gym? 🤣2

Lord that's expensive. Our fanciest gym is about 120 a month and has tennis courts, pool etc. I still think fondly of the adult only areas sigh2

Thanks @Sun_Addict I do have a good mix of exercise planned and TBH those are the types of exercise I prefer anyway
Thanks @amber03 @WelshmansDaughter your gyms are much more reasonable
Thanks @PennysIntoPounds no outdoor gyms here, but there is a weights class nearby that might be an idea. I will investigate...
Thanks @Tresinia511 I don't think there are enough people here who would pay those prices. I predict prices will fall heavily within a year!
Most of today has been spent trying to sort my mobile phone out and get a continuous service. Back and forth, back and forth...
In addition I managed to get a wash on and out drying as today is dry (rain expected tonight)
I pruned and attended to indoor plants
Dishes X2
Made humus
Cleared boxes
The family issue has bounced back as I knew it would. Pressure is being put on me to be the main player in resolving it. I am trying to think it through clearly. The stress led to an upset tummy. Drinking tea to calm my stomach.
I've been contacting people I know to get a few necessary trades. I now have a few possibilities that have been used recently and come recommended
The nice thing is I have one of those NT Live at the little independent cinema so I will be at a production this evening. Sooo looking forward to my head being elsewhere
Hope you have all had a good enough day

Thanks @Sun_Addict @beanielou @PennysIntoPounds I'm being pressured in oh so many different ways. I am also pressuring myself! But I can step back and see things clearly and that is progress for me.
Last night's NT Live was excellent. It was raining so I was so happy to be able to be home in two minutes. It is a lovely little cinema and one of the reasons I wanted to live in this little triangle of the area
The kitchen was left poorly and not 'put to bed' last night. Depressing to come down to. Renewing my commitment to ensure it is completely clean and clear before dark. Once it is dark my energy/motivation disappears. So, new plan is main meal during the day, soup later. I often switch to eating this way once it gets dark and clocks change this Sunday.
Pulling everything out and will reorganise the kitchen. Found a flask and a spatula to declutter. Not very much so far
Lots of rain here. Window leaking. I think it is a seal...will add to the list of things that need doing
MINTED
Post a birthday parcel
Chase hospital appointment
Chase P
Visit GP
2 bags of books to CS
Clean bathroom
1 hours ironing (going to try and do this every week)
Will work on list today after kitchen clean/reorganise
Will make beetroot burgers today, as I have a cooked a batch of chickpeas. I have beetroots and coriander. I have salad from veggie box that needs using, including sorrel leaves. Soup will be lentil, kale and tomato
I am out again this evening...Two nights in a row! Another NT LIve Imelda Staunton in Mrs Warren's Profession! Got tickets for both ages ago.
Off to make some coffee and continue with the kitchen.
Hope your day got off to a good start

Love the phrase 'put the kitchen to bed' How apt to describe. Afraid Im terrible at doing it but really notice the difference when I do. I think sloppy habits got formed when raising the kids with my DH was working away and chores, homework supervision and after school activities were all led by just me.
DH still works away so its often just me and the dog. I also dislike this time of year, so why have I never thought of switching when you eat main meal round. My pensioner parents sometimes do this when they know they have something else to do in the evenings. Will implement this for myself.
