Thanks @Tresinia511 I remember when mobiles first came in. It was acceptable to turn them off. Not anymore. There is an expectation you will always be contactable despite not being a high level medic!
Thanks @PennysIntoPounds I do think Minted will be great for me. This week will be all about getting that up and running. Thanks for the offers of support there.
Yes, I can see friend's point with not taking things for ex friend. There isn only one item. I have other things that she is unlikely to accept but I will make it clear either she takes all her things or I donate whatever she leaves.
I had a little bit of food waste so I went through fridge to plan to avoid this.
Saw @Sun_Addict is making beetroot and I will be using that up by copying her
I have my veg box so lots of veggies in.
I am trying jacket potatoes in the SC they wouldn't cook when I tried them in the summer. This time I have pricked them all over. I don't want to cook them in foil if I can avoid it. Trying to get jacket pots right as when I am hosting the internationals they are handy as a cheap, forget about meal.
Today...leftover landle of soup, a lonely salmon fillet, spoonful of leftover humous, small jacket potato (if it works) and salad

Thanks PIP they are low value paper backs so the CS can have them. Yesterday was a nothing day. In that I did very, very, little...except bake biscuits, then eat 2/3 of them! However I claimed a NSD so that is good.
My phone has no internet again. Its goes off often. I could connect it to my home internet but I am paying for a service I don't get. I am thinking of changing provider. Posted on techie bit of the internet as I want to keep my phone number and don't want it messed up!

Ignored my low battery warning on heating system until they went dead. No spares and heating kept coming on. I turned off boiler and went to buy batteries. A faff getting the boiler back on but all ok. Moral of the story? Keep spare batteries!
It is getting easier to walk, so I did a long(ish) walk by the sea.
 Soup was lovely
I did not have a massage after all. It was cancelled.
I visited a new gym that has opened near me. They are asking for 200 a month!! There is a special offer for 2 months at 150 a month. Maybe that is normal for a nice gym, but there is no pool. No wet steam room. A single shower (so my idea of showering there and coming back home to start my day wouldn't work) if it serves the whole gym it will end up grubby between users...Anyway, I am concentrating on getting my bike up and running, walking, a dance class and two yoga classes. The new gym is not for me unless the prices drop dramatically, and even then...
 Hope your day went well

Good grief that’s a lot for a gym! I had to re-read to be sure it was per month not a year. Sounds like you’ve got a good mix of exercise planned anyway.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I did the same SA, HOW MUCH. I’ve joined our local gym that’s part of a hotel. They have just revamped it, it has gym, pool and classes all for £46 a month. There are discounts for workplaces, OAP’s, tho sadly none that apply to me.:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.002
