Sorry to hear about your food, hope it improves quickly."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

Thanks @beanielou

Thanks @PennysIntoPounds you are right
Friend is happy to not go if I can't. I will get listings done tomorrow. I will...

Oops! I'd normally be apologising about my own cooking

Your feet are important, how did you hurt it? I find walking boots give good support for walking. Now you've mentioned fish and chips, I want them too 😋😋 and it is Friday tomorrow after all in an amazing coincidence 😀3

That comment about hoping the cooking improved made me spit my tea with laughter.
A thought about deliveries, I have prime (yeah I know) and discovered morries and the co op both will deliver. It is fab for small amounts and I can often get a delivery slot with a few hours so if I order around lunchtime what I need is delivered for dinner.
Now this is because I am often disorganised but, it is a handy thought for those in need for different reasons.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -
Thanks @teapot2 @jwil

Thanks @Tresinia511 I have walking shoes that give good support. It is a toe not foot, but not fractured
Thanks @Watty1 that is good to know. Is it free with Prime?
Well today I actually sold the bits of gold that were in the house. Odd earrings that sort of thing. Anyway, £120 so enough to live on until the end of the month and savings won't be touched and CC won't be used. I'm very happy about that
I woke up able to do things today. Not sure why. Iron levels improving? Better night's sleep? Anyway, I recognised I was more motivated and energised
reorganised the little room for drying clothes and set up an ironing board
washing
cleaned and reorganised kitchen
found some things I have been looking for
I made a difficult call asking a friend to collect some things from ex friend and bring when she visits this weekend.
Another difficult call to ex friend to check the things can be collected
Took garden spade to the CS
SHOPPING
Bought a beautiful new Emile Henry tagine. Looked it up and it is £161 new. This is new too and in a beautiful charcoal black. It cost me £5!! Also some lovely cream linen lined curtains that perfectly fit my patio doors. In the wash although clean. Mine for £5!!
LATER
I will clean room and prep for friend who is staying this evening
I said F&Cs tonight but not hungry as I ate some chicken and veggies at lunchtime.
Hope you had a good day too

Yay, you did the gold selling! That's a great amount, definitely chippie tea earnt for when you fancy it 🥂
Well done on the productivity, and the difficult calls. Amazing bargain finds.
I know you don't like doing listings, I'm much the same, but you seem to have a great eye and good bargains available near you, could another income stream be buying say one thing a month then selling it online for a wee bit extra?
Have a lovely time with your friend 😊

Thank you PiP. I hadn't thought of that. It is an excellent idea and suits me as it utilises the things I like to do. Funnily enough I saw a lovely long piece of vintage Sanderson fabric. It wasn't too my taste re pattern but I thought someone would love it and it was a bargain price. Just looked up vintage Sanderson and yes, I could have sold that on.
