I had a 99p chocolate croissant on my way home yesterday. sigh. Oh well...sometimes a girl's got to have chocolate!Mortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)

Well we've all obviously had a busy week! :rotfl:
I wasn't at work on Monday so this week I have spent, 99p on bread, 88p on a carton of apple juice and 98p on some smarties cookiesI'm not sure what that takes my total upto yet for the month as I haven't added up. I think about £7....:D
I hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to the bank holiday weekend :T

Woohoo - just added this weeks spends to my spending diary and it is bang on £7 for lunchCredit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again0 -
Congrats Naomi - £7 is really impressive. I've kept it down to £2.26 this week for bread, soup and a yoghurt. I ate tuna 3 days this week since we haven't been cooking at home lately. Today is HM chickpea curry though...yum!
Have had one lunch out this month and will have another next Friday. If I add those in my total will be approx £55...but without them, it shouldn't be more than £20 if that - which is a decent result for me. Happy long weekend all!Mortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)

I knew I hadn't posted for a while - didn't realise my last post was the 11/8. I shan't bore you all with every lunch I have eaten since then - assuming I could remember but I can state that I have not bought lunch on a workday since then and have brought food in everyday.
I did take a friend out on Bank HOliday Monday but I refuse to count that! In any event it was £10 for two including drinks etc which is a bargain on a Bank Holiday!
This weeks lunches comprised of
10p reduced ham (enough for Wed, Thurs and half of Friday)
50p reduced breadcakes (of which I still have 4 left!)
15p reduced bananas - they were the half to eat half to save variety and I still have all the half to save (next week) and some of the eat now - banana loaf
BOGOFF fruit juice - worked out cheaper than value. Just decant some into a screwtop cannister
BOGOFF or own brand crisps - less htan 10 p a packet.
for Tues I got a reduced to clear sandwich (on Monday) at 10 p
I had to add some cheese for today's lunch as there was very little ham filling!

Where is everyone?! New month, new lunch log for me! Last month was so-so for me but I will do better this month. Having said that I've already spent £4.70 of bread, juice, soup and biscuits. And I asked hubby to pick up some tins of tuna for me so that will be about £10. They aren’t on offer anymore so I thought I wouldn’t get any but on second thoughts, having them in the office prevented me from popping out to buy lunch several times this month – and I’m positive buying lunch on days like that will cost me more than a full price tin of tuna and a couple of slices of bread! Hope everyone is doing well.Mortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)

I think I will have to join you tomorrow because I'm back at work now the kids are back at school, and for ages now I have been spending between £3 - £4 on lunches from sandwich shops, and then twice a week we've been buying breakfast butties too so sometimes up to £23 per week on lunches!
Oh - and I am also starting a diet tomorrow tooStart Date: 27/11/2010
Padding: Day 42
Target £8000
Amount: £562.230 -
Right, this is my killer spend - not so much lunches but general daytime office snacking!
I am going to aim for under £25 this month which sounds an awful lot but as I have been an utterly disorganised pig the last 3 days doesn't leave me a lot of scope!
Monday - breakfast coffee & pretzel, lunchtime sandwich & crisps (coke left from multipack stash of last month) and afternoon coffee £7.94
Tuesday - breakfast coffee & croissant, lunchtime homemade left overs & crisps with diet coke stash £2.09
Wednesday - breakfast coffee & baguette, lunchtime as Tuesday £3.09
That's £13.12 in 3 days
Tomorrow I will be organised and buy a huge box of muesli & diet cokes & crisps and find fridge stash so that will sort out my breakfast cravings.
Will update, I promise0 -
I remembered to update and I thought about you all when I bought my morning croissant (£1.19) but didn't buy coffee, crisps or diet coke today. I figured a few days without these wouldn't go amiss!
total for Sept: £14.31.0 -
Can I join in this thread please? I waste a criminal amount of money on food at work.
Monday - £0 -Lunch from boots but bought with points so free.
Tuesday - £2.99 -Lunch from boots again, but no points :rolleyes2
Wednesday - £5.27 -Lunch from hospital shop, had to get it over £5 to use card :embarasse
Thursday - £0 -I brought in bread and marmite from home and made toast! But I'm going to have to go and get a can of diet coke in a mo to keep me awake (up until silly o'clock doing rudies with bf:D ).
I intend to do the toast thing tomorrow too. It would also help me lose weight really. And thank heavens for squeezy marmite!!!saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.
We're 29% of the way there...0 -
