Lunch Log Challenge 2008

Hi all,
I just found this thread and really enjoyed ploughing through it.
I sort of had a great month in July - I used all my Boots Advantage points (4732 in total) to buy Meal Deals. At the moment, every sixth meal is a free one! Admittedly, I was sort of spending but the points had been on the card for ages and I was strapped for cash in July.
Altogether, I think I spent £2.55 cash on lunches in July - YIPPEE!!!!:T

Hi Strumpet,
I've fallen off the lunch log wagon a bit of late, but I still enjoy popping in every now and then for a nosey. I've used Advantage points a couple of times to buy a meal deal and have found that when you do that they charge you separately for each individual item, rather than the £2.99 MD price, and it works out more expensive. I haven't done this for over a year - is this still the case?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Afternoon all,
I spent 99p today on a loaf of bread. I brought in left over chicken from yesterday's roast and a couple of DS's yoghurts that went out of date yesterday.:o So along with my fruit I'm sorted for the week :T

Hello everyone
Last week:-
Mon - Tuna salad, crisps, banana orange juice
Tues - as Monday
Wed - Egg mayo sandwich, crisps, banana
Thurs Chicken salad, crisps, banana apple juice
Fri - as Thurs
There are loads of imaginative meals logged and I bet a lot of us get more variety than we would from a sandwich shop!
Today i've had beef sandwiches with the usual extras and will be making up box salads for tues and wed.
Enjoy your savings everyone!0 -
Hullo...I've been attending a training course at work with a bunch of mad people who don't seem to want any breaks of any sort. Not helped by the fact that I've been asked to do this training not because I'm likely to do the stuff I'm learning but because I'm the only one who's available. So it's all a bit over my head. And I have a cold. Sob.
Ok enough moaning. I haven't had time to pop to the shop for my loaf - I normally go on my way to work or after work but the training starts early and ends late. So today's lunch was a single slice of toast with a tin of tuna and sweetcorn (thank god I bought in those tins as emergency rations!) and a cup-a-soup. Must go the shops and get bread and soup or I'll go hungry tomorrow.Mortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)

Ok
Monday slept in and forgot lunch - raided emergency food drawer in desk empty OMG!!!:(
Went home, a crime I know but I needed to eat and determined to have a NSD.
Tues - more productive - remembered lunch and re-topped up emergency drawer with goodies.
Currrently munching peach slobber (thai leftover rice chicken/prawn rissotto thingmy) and a reduced pitta bread (gotta get those carbs in!!)
Give up takeaways.???!!!!....runs screaming.....Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

I'm fighting the urge to go to the shop and get some chocolate! I forgot to bring a yoghurt in and fancy something sweet that isn't fruit
I was looking at the yoghurts in the shop but I'm damned if I'm going to spend 69p on one :T
