A great idea this thread, had not come across it before.

I used to spend at least £2.99 on lunch (meal deal) everyday.

I now go home at lunch most days so it doesnt cost me anything, although whatever I eat is paid for in the normal weekly shop - does that count as no spend?

I count it as a NSL as I have already put it in my shopping log! Anything I bring in from home means I am not spending :rotfl:

Another NSL for me today too. Still on the salmon and cream cheese sarnies, tomorrow will be the last day of them. On Friday I think I'm going to do cheese on toast.

Unfortunately at the moment I can't save my lunch money as all spare cash has to go towards my OD but at least it's getting there! :T I never had a set amount to spend on lunches before doing this. I bought whatever took my fancy (in those heady spend, spend, spend days ).

DH is still spending on his lunches but it now has to come out of his monthly spending allowance and not the bank account! :rotfl:

I'm sure your shrinking overdraft gives you as much pleasure as my Wii Fit Naomi. More probably (I'm at the achy muscles stage now!).

I had a bit of a blow out yesterday at lunch because I was STARVING. Spent £7.05 on soup, salad, and nuts. My only excuse is that I knew I wouldn't be getting anything to eat till 10pm since I was meeting a friend for a film after work. And I didn't want to risk stuffing my face at the concession stand!

But OH made pasta last night for me (he was craving Chinese and went out) and I have enough leftovers for lunch today and tomorrow. So apart from a 87p loaf of bread that I got today, I shouldn't need anything for a while.

Aren't we all doing well :j:T

I don't normally work Fridays but I am tomorrow, so although I have enough for some cheese on toast, I don't know if I have enough bread for breakfast as I usually have that at work too (8am start :o) I also only took in 4 yoghurts, 4 banana's and apples. It's habit:o

My boss is awful at buying bags of fruit and leaving them in the fridge so I think I might have to have a raid at his expense :rotfl:

Doughnuts in the office today! Couldn't resist and had one. Will have to skip dinner because tomorrow is weighing day.

Lunch was pasta and ginger oat cookies - they were intended as a mid-afternoon snack but ... :D

I spent another £1 yesterday on 3 tins of Weightwatchers tuna. I have them at work as emergency lunches for the days when I don't have anything. Hopefully that will prevent another week like this one!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Mouche! Don't you dare skip dinner!:naughty: If you are trying to lose weight skipping dinner is one of the worst things you can do. Your body goes into starvation mode and you store fat. Just eat something like grilled chicken and salad (if you have some at home).

On that note, I missed a proper breakfast as I didn't have enough bread at work, but I did eat an apple . My cheese on toast has gone out the window today and I spent £2.85 in Greggs on two sausage rolls, a fanta and an iced ring donut.

Have a lovely weekend everyone, don't forget to do your shopping for your pack-ups :D

:D That really made me smile - I'm not the only lunch logger with an incurable sweet tooth! Yes ma'am I will eat something for dinner - possibly a tin of the tuna I bought with a wholewheat roll - that sounds healthy without having too many calories I think.

Of course, you're very welcome. :) It's quite an informal challenge - you can report what you've eaten/ spent everyday or do it all at the end of the week.
