Well done NYCB, you're doing rather well!

Okay mouche, do not despair, juices if bought in advance for work use do not count as lunch log spends, so not as bad as you think.

Yesterday i had tin of soup from home n a yog.

Today i was half good/half bad..... i brough salad and dressing from home, but didn't have any chicken or anything for it... so i went to the burger van near work and got a chicken fillet, without the bun, cut it up and put it in my salad. It was yummy yummy hot chicken caesar salad...! total spend £1.50.
(not ideal but if i'd have gone to co-op and bought chicken fillets they would have cost £3 and i'd have probably bought a few other bits and bobs and there would be a tenner spent!!)

All in all, not too bad. still keeping it real, lol!!!!!

Well, back on track on the 2nd last day of the week. Must start keeping some instant soup at work to avoid spending so much money when I haven't brought lunch from home. To sum up this week:

Mon - Bread and fruits for the week, EAT soup, cashewnuts at the train station - £9.09
    Tue - EAT soup - £3.10
Wed - EAT salad (didn't fancy their soups) - £3.95
Thu - Veggie pasta from home - £0

And there is LOADS of of pasta left at home so hopefully next week won't be so bad.

Hope all of you are doing well!

I can't get back in the swing of things and I SO want to :o

    Monday - HM sandwiches £0
Tuesday - HM bagel with Edam £0 (sweaty cheese yuck)
    Wednesday - M&S bagels & egg mayo £3
Thursday - Bagels from sandwich shop and rest of egg mayo £2
Friday - sausage rolls from Greggs, cakes for office (scattercash:p )

My fridge is knackered so I'm now forking out for DS school lunches the past two days (£2.50 each day) so all in all I've spent about £20 this week. Given the nonsense of a Tesco shop on Saturday (£125) I feel thoroughly disgraced.

Oh, I hope some of the good behaviour on here will rub off on me.

    Happy weekend one and all

    Hey lunch loggers!

Not a goodstart for me today. Literally nothing lunch-able in the house today, even OH went to work without sandwiches!!

So will be a wee somerfield grocery shop for the house today, and will incorporate some lunch into that. Trouble is i am starving already... haven't had a biscuit mid morning or anything. I did have breakfast so dunno why i'm sooooooo hungry.

    Oh well, onwards and upwards!

Hullo all...good start to the week - lots of food in the freezer so no reason to buy lunch this week. also, managed to keep the week's breakfast shopping down to £5.19 - not bad for a big bottle of juice, loaf of bread, and tub of blueberries. I count the breakfast shopping in my lunch log since it comes out of my pocket money. I think I might start bringing half a loaf of bread from home though - I end up tossing out the ends of the loaf at home and the loaf at work so might as well avoid that by bringing it in to work.

Good luck to all for the week.

Afraid I've not been online very much over the last week but I have been good and keeping a record of the 40p's I've been spending on the odd packet of crisps and the 69p I spend on my loaf on a Monday morning.

I'm really pleased that this month so far I have only spent £6 on lunches. That would normally be only two days for me!
