It's been a while since I actually bought lunch (apart from Monday but that was for a friend's birthday).. it's become a habit to grab something in the morning now, even if it is an odd collection of items!

Maz is right Tinkabell it's a double whammy to spend lunch money on readables instead of eatables :D . The one thing that remains from the days of being a saintly lunch logger is my unbelievable willingness to rummage in the bin at work for discarded newspapers. Don't care!! They try to embarrass me BUT if they're daft enough to spend it, the least I can do is give it a second read.

Redsquirrel, it looks like I need to have a bit of YOUR focus. I'm just too rubbish for words just now with my lunches.

I'm already posting for today as I know it's going to be a NSL day! :p

I made fajita's last night and where I would normally throw the left overs away, I popped it in a tupperware box in the fridge ready to come to work for lunch. I have a work friend as skint as me and on payplan so texted her to see if she wants one too :D

Lunch share might be the way to go!

lunch share! i like it!!! that way you only have the stress of finding something 2.5 days per week!

Well i was kinda good and kinda bad as i was food shopping in tescos last night and bought a cous cous salad type thingy which i've had today, with some extra peppers, tomatoes n dressing from home, I'm passing this off as a no spend lunch! Feel free to throw the rule book at me!

Another week over and this one was pretty good lunch log wise.

    Mon - HM leftovers
    Tue - Ditto
    Wed - Ditto
    Thu - Working from home
    Fri - HM leftovers

Have to give most of the credit to my husband though. He cooked LOADS of food on Sunday and froze it. So we've been eating HM food everyday.

Did you get your hot lunch Maz? How's this week going - lunch log and otherwise?

Our freezer is absolutely jammed with stuff so I'll be eating HM stuff for lunch everyday whether I want to or not! Plus I made oat cookies this weekend and am bringing 2 a day to work (to avoid scoffing the lot :D ) to have with my 3 o clock cup of tea. Feeling positively saintly!

Mon - HM turkey mince meatloaf w. HM salad + 2 HM oat cookies - £1.68 (juice for the week)
    Tue - Working from home (finished meatloaf + 4 cookies) - £0
    Wed - HM veg pie + 2 cookies - £0

Oops! It looks like none of us have posted for a while. Are we all on NSD's or spending loads? :rotfl:

I haven't kept a record for July really but I know I've bought 2 loaves of bread (last week and this week) 6 packs of crisps and a pack of ham so I reckon in July so far I have done £5.59 :o

I've got my weekly shop to do on Friday so I will try and make sure I get my multipack of crisps and yoghurts and drinks ready for the lunches.

    Hope you're all doing good.
