Can I join this? It sounds like just what I need. I'll start from Friday though as tomorrows my birthday and I'm going to forget about debt for one day!

Of course you can join :D you might get some inspiration for nice lunches but I'm afraid I'm a sandwich and crisps girl :o

Have a good day (and nice lunch) tomorrow :D

And still I remain in disgrace.

I forked out £140 last weekend for a new fridge. Now have a wee fridge and a giant fridge/freezer with only the freezer bit working in my kitchen.

Anyway, DS told me after monday's lunch offering that he's "sick of it".:rotfl: He tells me he's bored of my choices and wants something different. When I pressed him for ideas he asked for "that nice walnut bread from M&S with maybe some pate " Who is this child and where's my son?

So, yet another rubbish spending week. DS stops for school hols in one week so I really need to motivate myself to make my own lunch. Can't be doing with this £20 weekly lunches. I'll be skint in no time.

Today's shopping day so hopefully I'll get inspired but whatever happened to the cheap alternatives? Eggs? Pasta? It's all so expensive now.

    Happy weekend everyone

i last posted on monday 16th, when i had to go to shop and buy something as cupboard/fridge was bare!

can't even remember what i did for the rest of the week....... which makes me think it was bland old shop sandwiches!

But have been better this week.... spent £1.45 on a seeded batch, which Erin and i both love, but i never normally buy as it's expensive.

So yesterday and today have had lovely cheese, pickle and ham sandwiches from home.

Will need to find a nicer filling though, or maybe have it with soup tomorrow....

still 2 NSL's so far this week

    Hi All,

I had a NSL yesterday as we had a new girl start in our department which meant a nice free lunch and glass of wine with work :D

Today I spent £1 on some lettuce in Iceland and brought in left over rice, crabsticks, coleslaw, potato salad from the weekend. I also brought in yoghurts and carton juices from home. :D Lunch was luvverly :rotfl:

She's had toast morning and night for the last 3 days! poor kid was obviously a bit deprived before, so will buy it more often. I remain a spendaholic:o

I spent c£5 on Monday (sausage rolls from Greggs & diet coke & crisps at Farmfoods)
Tuesday - HOORAY!! A NSD for a wee change
Wednesday - I've just given our young office chap a tenner to bring me back "stuff" for my lunch. I have no doubt I'm in for a three quid carb attack

Need to get back. Someone come and FORCE me. What's going on?

Well I spent £3.23 today in Sainsburys. I bought some cheese, ceasar salad dressing and smarties cookies

That's the most I've spent on lunch all month but at least the cheese and salad dressing will last a while :o

Well I've been doing well on the lunch log aspect but very badly on the healthy eating bit. Succumbed to cashewnuts at the railway station yesterday and to the free cookies at work today. Somebody handcuff me to my desk!
