Afternoon all
How lovely to see so many new people, welcome one and all.
I'm so on a roll with my lunch logging (but not today). I think part of my downfall was I was feeling defeated if I'd spent ANYTHING so, as Maz says, I'm keepin' it real.
Monday - homemade sandwiches and ham, M&S crisps, juice & white choc cookie £2.90
Tuesday - Left-over-last-night Mac & Cheese, Asda diet coke

Yesterday I went out for lunch (I paid, but it's reclaimable on my expenses, which I have to do this week!)
Today: leftover stirfry = £0 (but I have just brought Ibuprofen as have a splitting headache) xx0 -
Well I already had bread, ham and pickle at work so today I brought in some cheese from home and spent 40p on a packet of crisps as I forgot to bring them in!

my first visit here.....hi
I work in the city so any shop bought lunches can be quite expensive so I'm trying to save money by taking my own lunch (and breakfast) to work.
so far this week I have not drawn any money out of the bank and I haven't had any money in my purse. I make toast for breakfast and I have made pasta/pesto/pine nuts for my lunch and brought in fruit and nibbles from home.
Feels really good !0 -
I have bought lunch every day this week, so disgraceful!! My excuse is that I'm temping this week. But......I Start my new job on Monday and will be able to do cheap brekkie and lunch again woo hoo!!£10 extra a day in June challenge - £300  / £10 extra a day in July challenge - £150 / £10 extra a day in August - £325 (helped by giving up smoking :A ) /A Payment a day challenge (starting 1 Sept...)0

Yep, Maz am OFF the Irn Bru wagon for a bit. Was starting to taste like Lucozade to me so I'm having a wee break.
Frugallass pasta/pesto/pinenuts are my idea of heaven. Throw in some spinach or fine beans and you've got a deal.
My £4.20 lunch was rank. Total rubbish. Won't do that again. Tomorrow if I get a fit of the lazy-article's I'll give myself a stern talking-to and make my lunch before I leave.Grocery Challenge M: £450/£425.08 A: £400/£.May -£400/£361 June £380/£230 (pages 18 & 27 explain)0 -
Hi All,

I have brought in last nights left overs of chicken mini fillets & ceasar salad. :j Would have cost a bomb in the supermarket for this!
