jo that is really good news - such a big saving!

I hope you are going to put that money away so that you can do something useful with it!

As mentioned above, I start a new job on 6th May. I will be working in the city centre so surrounded by eating opportunities......

I have decided I am going to allow myself to take £10 cash out of the bank on my way in on a Monday.......whatever I have left at the end of the week goes into my ISA which is at the bank next door to the office.

Obviously, if I don't take my lunches in with me, then my £10 will be gone before the middle of the week, so I have every incentive to keep going with this challenge.

    Hi all!

Last week I only spent on Friday, when I went out for lunch with a work colleague to chew the fat! £4.10, but got a bottle of drink which I half drank and saved for my journey up North on the train (would probably have spent £2 at Euston if not).

Today: NSL (have soup, a roll, a pear and an orange) x

I purchased a bottle of water and an apple on the way to work, but had packed lunch with me. So £1.09 for me!
