  • Hi everyone,

Really impressed to see everyone is doing so well. Week 3 didn't go well, I only managed 1 no spend day all week.
    Mon £1.90
    Tue .75
    Wed £2.50
    Fri £3
    Total week 3 = £8.15

Week 4 was better, mainly bought snacks
    Thu .65
    Fri £1.80
    Total week 4 = £2.45

So lunch spend so far is £19.37. :o Even based on £3 a day that's £34.63 saved so far. :T Will think about packed lunch ideas for next week - thanks for the links!

  • ............. so does that mean everyone is deserting their lunch log agendas? I'm feeling flush post-santa robbery............... but that doesn't mean I'll throw caution to the wind and allow my spending to rise to the hedonistic heights of £4.20 per day OH NO!

    Monday - £0.45 - bagels & cheese from home and a crunchie (45p)

Come one people, don't make me live here all alone. It's dark and I'm scared:eek:

  • Well I started my week back at work as I meant to go on...... I took my lunch :D I did buy tea and toast this morning, but it was yummy, I was starving, and I am allowing myself to buy breakfast, as two toast and tea is only 57p.... and £3 per week is WAY better than the £25 I was spending!

Monday: Egg sandwiches (last minute decision as the eggs went out of date two days ago!), 2 x petit filous, 1 x Walkers crisps (will be buying own brand from now on!) and one Pepsi Max.... all from home :T . Got a Chili con Carne on the boil as I type.... with nough for me and OH tonight, and lunch tomorrow

Overslept so not a lot of planning involved. Just took a tin of soup but it filled a gap...

  • Had a great no spend yesterday, but today I spent a whopping £12.95!! Oh my! Food, posh orange juice, cleaning wipes and a birthday card. Oh my...

Not that I should be allowed to justify it, but I've just found out I'm pregnant and have been having the most terrible morning sickness! I feel better after I've eaten!
