I tried using Chase at B&M today and no cashback as I think we suspected - the MCC must be for discount stores or something rather than food.
Will reverse the transaction on Curve - glad I kept that now when they put the limits on the free tier.

Chase have also started rolling out their 0% interest spending credit card.
Having just been accepted for one, I will switch to using that instead of the debit card as longer-term a 0% interest balance will be more profitable0 -
Tried it at a local Poundland and no cashback. However the One Beyond DID give cashback. Which is weird since they're both discount stores but Poundland had way more "grocery" kind of items than One Beyond. Even weirder is that in my statements it's called One Below which I believe was the company's older name.1

I’ve been with them since the beginning and my Chase will now be dormant unless I’m overseas and using it to withdraw cash from a cash point. Have my Barclaycard rewards card for overseas and domestic purchasing now.Lancashire
