Travel Sickness Bands - the work of God
I got a set and they were great - I took them off to have a bath one day and about 10 minutes after I took them off I was vomiting over the side of the bath  I put them back on again and they stayed on until 14 weeks !!!
Also a tip from my midwife was to eat 2 oranges a day - they very slowly release sugar and it tends to be blood sugar levels taht can make the sickness worse.
Good luck

I had exactly the same questions when I found out I was pregnant thou I was 30, but still felt like a 16 yr, as my partner and I had only been 2gether since Nov 01, found out was pregnant JAN 02
good luck, I had bad morning sickness when I had my daughter, anything would start me off, toothpaste and mint shampoo were the worst.
I eat ginger biscuits and dry crackers
Ive just skipped thorugh the thread, I can understand your concerns, travelling you may have to put on hold, but you have a lifetime ahead of you.
This was me Sept 2001 - Mexico, 2002, had Kenya booked March, Goa for Nov, then that little blue line changes everything, work wise I went from 13 1/2k pa + bonuses (take home £1,000 month), to £250 SSP, I had a up and down pregnancy, my partner walked out when I was 7 mths gone, (good riddance after bad rubbish), there was times how can I cope, will I cope, I cant go through with this, (Id previously had 2 car accidents), so pregnancy didnt agree with my back,I ended up on crutches, which was meant to be last 3 mths of pregnancy, but 5 years later, I have the most beautiful daughter, who I love to bits, a great family network, brilliant friends, Ive had a couple of hols abroad and my daughter has stayed with my parents, a lot of caravan hols in the uk, Im still on crutches, last year plucked up the courage to start an open uni course, now have a qualifiation in law and business, but Im happy.
Im taking my daughter abroad next yr for her 1st time.
Going back to 2001, I was in Mexico when it was 9/11, and a yr later Im in hospital - waiting to be induced, as the song goes - what a difference a year can make - shes the best thing ever to happen to me. x
Obviously money is a concern and Ive made mistakes, but am getting sortedxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Hi everyone,
I'm really sorry I didn't get back to you all, but I was off work with my morning sickness as I blacked out several times and everyone decided it was a bit dangerous for me to be there. Not only that but OH would have refused to elt me go I think. Ended up in hospital on a drip, so anyone who says morning sickness isn't serious shoudl take note. I ended up at 7.5 stone.
Anyway, I felt that I owe it to you all to let you know that in the end I did go down the route of termination. It was the most difficult decision I've ever made, and I know that so many of you will be dissapointed and even angry with me, but I truly believe it was the right thing for everyone involved. There are several reasons that I don't really want to go into, but it's the decision I made and unfortunately, there's no changing it now. I want to say a huge thankyou to everyone who supported me and gave me advice, and good luck and all of my best wishes to mums to be and those TTC. I honestly hope I haven't offended anyone on here by my choice.
