You are so good, fitting in exercise and a social life as well as study!! For me it seems an either or scenario... exercise goes out the window when I'm essay writing and as for a social life... well forget it!! I should take a leaf out of your book!!

I was up at 5.30am this morning though QB, I really should have done more studying today but as I have nothing planned apart from food shopping tomorrow I should get lots done.
Exams start one week on Monday:eek:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Oooh good luck in your exams, will be thinking of you. I have been awful and study has gone on the back burner at the moment but I just have the books and can work at my own pace (which is probably a bad thing as I dont HAVE to study and dont have to be committed)
getting up at 5.30 to study is highly committed, I applaud youMPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

I decided to give myself a lie in this morning until 7am:D
Starting to get that panicky feeling now as I still dont know enough on at least one of the papers to pass......much work still to do.
Todays plan is.......- Quickly do ironing (and I mean only desperate items)
- Food shopping
- 6 mile walk (these seem to really help my mind focus)
- Study my arriss off for as many hours as possible:o
DS1 has AS exams this week too..........I havent seen him with a book in his hand once:eek:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Good luck. I find using mind maps help me revise and are easy to picture in the exam.MFW 91 op 2014 £410/1000

I think I really should post an update but its not pretty:o
I seem to have totally lost the plot big style and my mortgage overpayments are getting further and further behind.
I also did something so stupid with MrT CC as I thought that by putting all spending on it to get extra points then pay it off the next month would be easy to do.............obviously not:o I just have to accept that I have a really bad relationship with Credit Cards and just cannot control the urge to send off only the minimum payment so I should just accept that I really cannot use them........full stop!
Firstly I need to clear of the MrT card its over £1000 and i have just put Florida tickets on it too (£620) so I really need to face up to this or I can see me being right back to were I started 5 years ago.
Its very strange how your savings dont ever seem to grow as fast as your spending when you add them up do they?
One good thing is that I have £650 saved up in my money neutral gifts account although the matched betting has ground to a halt despite there being loads of freebies around during the world cup.
I am really my own worst enemy.
So, I have asked for help from a very special friend and we are going to try to keep each other on track.
I am so grateful xxBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Found you!
I too had the thing with the points........trouble is I don't live near a tescos any more (haven't for about 8 years!!!!) and thus never get to use the flipping things!
I honestly could cry over the money I have wasted recently and like you Lou I am completely my own worst enemy.
And in case anyone is wondering I am the special friendand trust me I am really special!!
I am off for a declutter/ebay stuff to sell ( I never really have got to grips with that to be perfectly honest) but will be back later my love
