Being off work with a nasty flu virus has given me the time to browse the forums which were once my daily refuge and inspiration.

Reading back at my goals and progress has made me feel sad in parts but inspired to get back to good old MSE ways.

I took another leap into an new job just over a year ago and I am loving it and looking forward to a pay increment in January.

Both my boys are now at university so its just OH and I at home which has been a big wrench for me and may hold the answers to why I am overspending (again).

OH is working part time now in a job he enjoys which is great for him and me as he can do the housework when I am at work:)

Here are my targets for the diary:

    Mortgage currently stands at £25226
Credit Cards £1700 0% £700 standard rate (I know, rolls eyes).

My first plan of attack is to get rid of the credit card debt then throw overpayments to the mortgage.

January will have to be my starting point as December's budget is done.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
