Phew, what a hectic week:eek:
Busy weekend too but with fun things as I am off out with my best friend for a girly night out tonight then going to see ASH in concert tomorrow night.
MB total for April is £123.16 so far with 3 BOGOFs to play this weekend hopefully for about £15 in total. DS1s new wardrobe has arrived so I need to place the old one on Ebay, its solid pine and still in decent nick so hopefully there will be someone local who wants a bargain and they can come and collect:D will be pleased with £10 for it to be honest.
Jobs to do for the weekend.......- take bits of rubbish to dump
- 6 mile walk
- washing and ironing
- food shop
- place bets
- check banking
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Has it really been almost a month since I updated:eek:
Still plodding on with the matched betting, not much going on in May as alot of the matches with offers have been when I have been at work but have still manged over £30 so far which is better than a poke in the eye I guess.
As far as Mortgage overpayments go this month has been a total disaster as OH has been put on 2 further 4 day weeks which has left his wage with a considerable hole in it:(
Not looking good but on the plus side, if the worst should happen we have overpaid nearly £20K and we could still afford the standard payment on my salary. Lets think positive for now though:)
Really must get my finger out today as I have loads to do- Complete at least 1 past exam paper for each of the 3 exams I am sitting in June
- Iron and put away
- general tidying up
- List DS2's electric drumkit and a wardrobe on Ebay and local paper
- meal plan for week
- walk at least 4 miles
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Thanks Beanie:A
I think I have been over ambitious with the exam papers so I am going to pick one subject per week leading up the the exam and just focus on that until it goes into my head. Jumping amongst the 3 subjects is just confusing me and it doesnt take much:o
Been out for a 6 mile walk with OH where we talked ourselves into and back out of going out for dinner to the local Indian restaurant:rotfl:
I have put on some quick cook chilli (use quorn instead of mince) and we are sorted:A
Still need to list the wardrobe and drum kit......snore! Will do it before the end of the day though as they are both in the way.But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
There is a new song out from Divine Commedy.

Thought I had best pop in with my progress.......
Not doing to well to be honest, OH's wage at the end of May was pretty poor and the cluch broke on the car which was £250
Needless to say, June's overpayment will not be much:o
My main focus at the moment is my impending exams which are on 14th, 15th and 16th of June
Revision is going well although I am getting up at 5.30am every morning to fit it all in.
To do list for the day- 3 hours study
- walk 6 miles
- clean bathrooms
- tidy and vacuum upstairs (OH and kids can help too)
Off for our walk now then hitting the books xxBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0
