Hugs for Taplady, I hope everything works out for you, keep us posted on, as i'm sure there are many of us who would like to offer support to you x

Hugs for everyone else too, who is having a tough time just now x

Have done two loads of washing, out on the line while its nice! Bread maker is about to go on, have stripped the gammon for a soup for tea. I'm gonna go and do some sorting of the kids outgrown clothes after my tea break and see if I can get them listed on Ebay as a bundle.

Have a great day everyone x

    Afternoon all,

HUGS to taplady and anyone else that needs one today - especially those back at work! Boo!

I've had a productive morning, paid a few bills online and have been pottering in the kitchen. I am feeling quite smug, especially as I've just taken my first ever batch of muffins out of the oven. :j

Need to pop to visit parents later as it's mum's birthday and then plan for the afternoon is to do some tidying in the garden (before it gets dark/starts raining again!). When OH gets home tonight I think we're taking the decs down so I can give the house a good clean tomorrow. I'm not back till Mon which is great for catching up on jobs.

Thanks all for being here to motivate me again. I feel that 2008 could be a good year.

Goodness, I've just got back from Morrisons because we needed weetabix and bread - I kid you not, the queues were as long as before xmas. There was a long traffic jam to get in the car park, then I had to scout around ages for a hole. Finally, when I got to the tills it was packed, queue right back into the aisles, with trolleys heaped to the rafters.

Where they getting all their money from?

    Hi everyone!
Just a simple pimple day here today as am back at work and am frankly struggling to get my brain into gear.
I've done v little on the OS front save for washing the floor and stocking up on kitchen bits that we've run out of in Wilko.
I've got another freecycler coming this pm to relieve me of some of my clutter and have targetted another area to start on.
This evening I shall make s/w for work tomorrow, hopefully summon up the stamina to touch up a few bits in the bathroom and start watching either Sense and Sensibility or Finding Neverland.
    Sardine burgers for tea!

    Afternoon all.
Didn't think I'd get on line...................internet cut off last night and when I came back from shopping still wouldnt connect. I had mild panic and withdrawal symptoms, worked out what I could do instead (sort out filing, stuff for charity shop etc.) but in the end resorted to ringing tech.services who told me to unplug wire from wireless box, wait, plug it in again, tell chap if lights were flashing or not.............lo and behold I was connected !!
So, charity shop stuff is still upstairs instead of downstairs.........papers are still in drawer....................lol
But I must.................really must do it !! I'm trying to work to some sort of plan and it keeps going pear shaped......................lol:eek:

    Hi all

I thought i'd post today on your daily thread (i hope you don't mind me joining in) as it's something i don't usually do due to time (but i'm not working today). Do you all post on this daily thread everyday or just when you get a chance?

Today i have made 24 cobs ready for pack lunches (hubby back at work tomorrow and kids back at school). I have a loaf in the breadmaker at the moment. I also made some breakfast muffins for my daughter (with banana's, mixed fruit (leftover from xmas cake) and special k (supposed to be bran flakes but didn't have any). I will freeze these but keep one or two out and serve with a spoon of natural yoghurt and some blueberries which i got reduced last month so i froze them. My daughter hates milk so i have to think of different things for her to have for breakfast.

I've got to pop to Tesco's later as i've run outof freezer bags.

I also did two loads of washing (and its blowing lovely on my washing line) and i took the girls to the park this morning.

I'm having a busy day so i've sat down to eat a mince pie and a quick look at the posts on this forum. My hubby brought a box of six Sainsbury's mince pies left over from his work xmas party. I've got to say the mince pie isn't very nice and i'm glad i made my own again this year (i've still got some in my freezer).

Anyway, thanks for letting me post on here.
