Morning all, not much planned today apart from get a washload done and get the kids out to get some fresh air again today. Might make them walk into town and carry the shopping bags back, that will tire them out. Looks like a quick trip to the park might be in order as well as the weather is windy, cloudy but not raining - yet. They seem to now be rested up from their school term and its time they went back to school! They are 7 and 5 and like Victoria Beckham says with boys its more about crowd control rather than parenting sometimes. Hope you all have a good day, hugs to those who need them.Proud to have dealt with my debts. Nerd number 288:j Debt free date Dec 07 :EasterBun

Good morning and Happy New Year everyone
I must point out that I love Xmas but by the time I get to this point I'm heartily sick of sweets, rich food and rubbish on the TV. But its lovely to get back to a bit of routine
I'm really looking forward to normal food (egg and chips Yum) and having routine such as going to work and meal planning etc
This may sound very sad. Does anyone feel the same.

Morning all
DH gone back begrudgingly today and DD's both go back tomorrow - weather permitting - they keep saying we'll be getting snow overnight in this area on the local radio :j ... I like snow!
DW and WM doing their stuff and the house is tidy, got about 20 items to iron once I've finished my cuppa and DD's are happily playing on the Wii (withouth fighting - have I just tempted fate???).
DH did me a super-de-doooper exel spreadsheet for the budget planner - think he completely depressed himself doing it though as he realised that when I say - no there's not a spare £10 to pop to the pub with - that I actually mean it - I'm not just being mean and miserly.
Worked out a full on meal plan for the next 33 meals - I don't need any ingredient for those so just basic milk, fruit and veg for the next month which means there's money to buy DH a new suit that he desperately needs.
Right - ironing won't do itself - unfortunately! Hope you all have a great day."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Hi cuddlymarm,
We are all off until next Monday so not back to normal for us yet. I've added your thread into todays daily where everyone is talking about getting back to normal.

Morning all! We're still enjoying Christmas until 12th night :rudolf: :xmastree: :snow_laug We have friends iover tonight and tomorrow - people who were away over Christmas, so haven't managed to see them. Cooking a festive vegetable filo pie for tonight, and a lasagne for tomorrow (as we're going out in the day and want something to put in the oven when we come home).
I need to do some cleaning today - kitchen mainly. But the house isn't too bad, as we've all mucked in and done a bit of Flying each day.
DS opened the Carcassonne game he got for Christmas, yesterday. What a brilliant game. Will be playing that again later. I love having them at home, and we all go back next Tuesday.
Have a great day, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Morning to you all! thought I'd post before I went out, will catch up later!
Just had some bad news, have had an abnormal smear again after being clear for several years.:( Got to have another colposcopy. I had this 15 years ago and again since then needing 2 lots of treatment and a small op due to prcancerous cells. Had been ok for about 3 years and the hospital had discharged me last year, now its back!
It sounds stange but I sensed something was up even though I had no symptoms.
I hope everyone is well.Back later xxxDo what you love :happyhear0
