    Mortgage-free Glee!
Morning Everyone! Well, school starts tomorrow (can't believe it's so early in the year!) so that'll end my holiday mood with a bang! Usually go in for the day before term starts but not on January 2nd!
Have signed up to the flylady thread in the hope of shaming myself into keeping (getting) the house a wee bit straighter this year. DH back to work today so need to crack on before he comes in for lunch. Afterwards, trip to Cambridge to get new sewing machine needles and have a look at the new John Lewis shop there. Hope most of those who've been poorly are feeling better again - feel free to have a (((HUG))) if needed. Our decs won't be down until twelfth night - I do enjoy the tree lights in the evening.

Yes I use dial up so it is limited. Trying to use more of the markets this time, and after our friends have gone home, (first two weeks) we shall not have a car a lot of the time, so will have to do more walking. Figured out we could have a lot of Taxi's for around £100 a week car hire:eek: .
Going to use http://www.spendingdiary.com/reports.php?sd=2007-12-01&ed=2008-0-31 to track what we spend.

  • Morning all, got to go and get a new nightie and dressing gown for the hossie. Going to eat well tomorrow night, as no food until after the OP on Friday.

    Have a good day, all!
  • Morning all

Hope everyone is well and hugs to those who aren't.

    Have a good day all

  • Donny gal - my dh twitches too - drives me nuts - between him, cats and one year old daughter I hardly sleep these days.

Also back at work - am a bit peeved off because my bosses asked me for a meeting on Saturday (yes in my holiday) and you can hardly say no and now they are on holiday until the middle of next week and left a big message on the notice board "WE ARE NOT TO BE DISTURBED - WE ARE ON HOLIDAY". Cheers but I can be dragged out of holiday bliss... It would be alright if they never went on holiday but they are off pretty much every other month for 10 days or more...

Anyways am back on the diet - sort of slimming world but without paying the slimming world fees. :A

Not much is going to happen at work today - most of our clients are still off, so I will sift through my filing and maybe even do it. :rotfl:

DH will know on Friday if he has got that job or not - I so hope it doesn't snow and he can't go! Fingers crossed for him (and me).

DD has a stinking cold and I think I might get it as well.

Ok - on to good things now...
