I got mine 2 days ago and I think it's just under 3p electric and a massive 0.25p for gas.

I suppose it goes on what unit price you were paying as there are different prices.

    I joined beginning of March.

Thank you interesting & disappointing. I was definitely under the impression that both were reducing slightly.

Fuse was a 'small retailer', not required to contribute to the ECO scheme. Since Fuse customers weren't paying for ECO, they get no reduction when the scheme is axed. They do get the discount resulting from 3/4 of the Renewables Obligation being moved from electricity bills to general taxation.

Mine reduced at midnight as promised. New rate visible in app. Electricity reduced from 21.3p per kWh to 18.75p per kWh. A reduction of 2.55p per kwh

Do we know what the typical reduction is bills this represents - when I recently switched to Fuse via Cheap Energy Club it said the cost would typically fall 3-5% for this company on 1st Apr. How do we know what reduction this represents, given only the elec unit rate has changed - no changes to the standing charge and no changes to gas prices.

Also my smart meter IHD still shows the old figure.

On electricity unit rate it's an 11.97% price reduction. Your actual bill reduction will very much depend on your usage of electricity v gas. Gas and standing charges were never going to alter. The bigger companies will reduce by more as they had an extra green charge already on their costs which fuse never charged - hence why fuse always been cheaper. Your ihd will correct itself in time. Just as the energy monitoring apps loop and bright and comparison sites will also alter too. The important thing - the fuse energy app - is showing the reduced price and tariff. The rest will follow suit

It's a 10.7% elec UR reduction for me. I thought they would provide a typical percentage reduction figure when this change was made - just as the fixed tariffs for the bigger companies are reported to drop by 7-9% on average.

I'm aware the ECO situation for Fuse means a lesser reduction - I've just put my figures through a calculator and it's showing a 3.77% overall reduction - seems on the low side. There doesn't seem to be any info out there on how they come to these figures and how we can be sure the reduction is as it should be. The fact there's been no information from the company doesn't help, and the chat support people don't seem to have a clue as usual.

Fuse are still at it. They now show the correct truncated CV on the bill but still calculate using 3 dp. And they have recalculated my Feb bill increasing it by 7p, the strange thing is they show a lower CV but the kWh is higher ! A shower of jokers.
