Fuse Energy & OFTM Reviews please ⚡️
Do you use Fuse Energy? What do think? How is the customer service? The App? Billing?
Please let me hear your reviews. I've read the previous threads, Trust pilot etc. I'd like to hear from current or previous users.
I'd also like to hear the same about Outfox the Market?
It's time for me to divorce 🐙 It's been a long time but the cracks are beginning to show. 💔
Thanks.

I moved to Fuse last week, had first bill already as they bill in calendar months, which is fine, so only a few quid. SMETS1 meter linked with them straight away and I get near real time hourly breakdowns (although they do add the standing charge onto the graphs at 2am, took me a day or so to work that one out).1

It's been five(?) years since I was with OFTM. I think I spent three years with them.I remember them as being cheap but no-frills, with a low-functionality website that mostly worked for taking meter readings and issuing bills.

Been with Fuse since Sept 23, a breath of fresh air after BG as SOLR. It just works and I know exactly where I am without hours of checking re-issued statements.

What about the app? Is it any good? I've been spoilt by the Octopus mini which has enabled me to keep track of my energy use in great detail. It's only because of tracking live energy use in the 🐙 app that I have been able to refine my heat pump settings for max efficiency/low cost running without having to install expensive monitoring kit.
Will the Fuse app let me see half hourly, daily, weekly, energy use in the same way? (It's a bit annoying if they include the standing charge in this.)
Also, I know they don't allow fixed Direct Debits (I like the security but can open a savings a/c for this) but are their bills on time and predictable from the app?0 -
Both myself and my dad have been with OFTM for just under a year and very happy. App is just web copy type thing but works fine for our requirements. My Smet 2 (EON installed) meter works fine with them. Funnily enough I'm just about to jump ship to EDF as I'm a low user.
Cheers1 -
I've been with Fuse since last year. They always respond quickly via the app or email (almost instantly sometimes) They are also installing a heat pump for me (with far more radiator upgrades than Octopus offered)2

Been with Fuse a year. Very responsive customer services. App is really good and is regularly updated with new features. Display of usage is updated throughout the day. I recently looked at the OFTM app and it seems more basic.=============================

And no its variable DD only. Account can be topped up pre-DD (before end of month) by making a connected transfer from a bank account (they dont seem to take card payments). It does give you a running total of what your bill will be, which is something Octopus doesnt do.
Jan bill came through 2nd Feb no bother.2 -
Thank you so much to everyone who replied to this thread. It has been really helpful. Much appreciated.
I am slightly at risk of losing a £100 heat pump referral boost if I leave 🐙 but I can't hang around much longer, my energy bills are getting silly(ier).0
