Received my bill from Fuse yesterday - looked at it this morning and the "new style" bill doesn't seem to show closing readings just the opening ones ?
EDIT Furthermore, the volume of gas used for the bill isn't equal to the difference between the opening readings shown in the app for 1st Nov. and 1st December !!!
My bills are spot on for the difference between the 2 readings and the cost using their illicit CV is correct.  Their calculation of VAT is a work of fiction though.  The bill now looks almost like one from a real energy company rather than something made up by a 10 year old in his bedroom !

Another " issue" with Fuse - bill produced on the 3rd pm, money taken already today. less than 2 days notice. Ts & Cs state at least 3 working days notice.

My Nov bill has been updated with no closing read !
According to my latest interaction with them the truncating of the CV is in hand as is the closing read missing and the calculation of VAT amounts.
The simple point about their CV calculation is that they are overcharging customers, might only be a few pence but it is still overcharging.
    They really are a shambles.
I am starting to have flashbacks !

Yes - I'm beginning to worry myself - the saving grace is that I got this fix on a short lived offer via USwitch in August that is comfortably cheaper than anything else I found then (and my previous Octopus fix) and cheaper than current offers.

They have bunged me another £10 for moaning so more than makes up for their uselessness, so far they have overcharged me around £1 but credited my account with £20  :D

Just rechecked my November bill and the new calculation has used a CV of 40.7 when the average CV for my LDZ was 39.6, close to as used in the original bill.

It's a ludicrous fudge ! Downloading my Fuse Nov. bill now shows the same end cost and the same charge for kwhs of gas used.
HOWEVER, they have rounded down the volume figure to one decimal place, used a much higher CV (39.9 vs 38.873). Using these, calculation of the kwhs now gives a much higher figure than the one shown , ~ 60kwh , which would equate to £3.33 MORE for the month ! HOW can they c**k up calculations so badly?

Where can I find the average CV for my area?

Do you think this is a more widespread issue, or have they recalculated your bill after you complained about the CV decimal places issue?

Scroll down to calorific values and select your region / LDZ then select gas day / latest values for gas day and the date range then download as an excel data file and work out the average.
The recalculate the bill every month based on "new data"

Also noticed that when the average CV is updated downwards they do not revise the bill, funny that !
