linksys, no ethernet lead - will get one tomorrow!

She normally can get online in the next room, but has done something (?:o) to enable her to use it at uni.

Is ccleaner antivirus then? Should she do that often?

Do you know what the things showing on disk cleanup are? 'oldchkdsk filed' and 'webclient/publishertemporary files'.

Do you mean is the laptop next to it? If so, yes.

no I meant if the laptop is wireless, and the router is wireless, you should be able to connect wirelessly, by scanning for your network name (ssid, probably linksys)

ah, sorry, how would I do that? I'm on here on my pc, laptop is sulking next to me.

view the wireless networks available and connect the network you use. if they are secured they will need a wep code.

Can't get the menu, I clicked on the symbol and just got a message saying windows cannot configure..

what was the rest of the message? is the use windows to configure box ticked?
