Hurrah! More than you expected and the joy of not having to chase it definitely worth a little celebration 🥂

Unfortunately Pip I opened a half decent bottle of red wine when I had fully intended to have a cold IPA.

In other news, I spent an hour in my garden today (getting braver) and a bee landed on my shoulder for a bit. I'm taking that as a sign from mother nature that my garden is meant to be a haven for all and a place to rest. Or maybe I just smelled nice 😄

Boring weekly finances done. Trying not to be too hard on myself that most of my emergency buffer has been used. Only a few more days til payday!!

I hope you bravely coped 😁 I'm very much enjoying a pinot noir from the fridge, feeling very Spanish with my chilled red wine

It is so lovely when nature and especially bees makes you feel like a trusted person, definitely a sign ❤️

Emergency buffer being used is fine, you'll put it back on payday so it has done its job, and give yourself a pat on the back for having it in the first place!

    You'll get there @ArtyJ931 !

I'm trying to reframe how boring the debt repayments are now. I know it's because I've spent the last 18months tinkering with the numbers and automating things as much as possible. I don't stress about things so much now and I don't constantly fiddle with amounts. So boring is good. None of my current debts will be paid off any time soon as they're all big amounts that I'm chipping away at. If I don't get my dopamine fix from spending it, and now I don't get my dopamine fix from paying it off, I'm going to need some new (cheap/free) hobbies!!
