We've all done well on blue-ming marvellous Monday.
not only have I finished the filing, I've done the associated shredding too.Much quicker and easier to do it than keep putting it off.
Now to give some thought to cosy Friday 24 -
Monday has been Manic - foreshortened lunch break due to giving advice to ex-colleague, gliding through giving a character reference for another ex colleague for her new job, managing several meetings (I think, I remember doing this before …? 🤔😂), leaving earlyish to get home and have super swift tea and then out to the parish council meeting, accessorised with hot water bottle. All breakfast and lunch prep done for tomorrow and I don’t feel frazzled, just tired 😊

This morning I tackled two jobs I've kept putting off. This afternoon I had a lovely time at my class and I was able to help resolve a technical issue. When I arrived home found OH had lit the fire and made us a pot of tea - he's a keeper 😊Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

It's Fredagsyms #2 Eve
unbelievably it's still January, but we can indulge in another fun and cosy Friday tomorrow. So far our plans include a roast chicken dinner (had roast on a Friday envy last week). We watched Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone last week and tomorrow we are going to listen to music instead of staring at the tv screen. I've also found a wood wick candle in my guilty pleasure candle stash. It crackles as it burns so that will definitely create a snug mood.
look forward to hearing what folk are planning,4 -
I'm going to start the day off tomorrow with boiled eggs and buttered fingers and coffee. Will have a leisurely day with DH as hes off work, making some home baked cake for the tin.
Chicken stew and dumplings for lunch and then we'll be planning the veg garden for this coming season..
Evening will be a jigsaw again of 'Grandads garden' which looks to be set in the 60s/70s and is so nostalgic. While doing that we will be watching films and eating cheese and crackers, finishing with a mocha before bed.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

We are going into London for a meal and we're thinking of going to a winter light display in Canary Wharf, but it depends on the weather. I did buy a long cardigan in the New Look sale today so I could wear that and be quite cosy!5

@cheerfulness4 - what a lovely day. I'd like to spend the day round at yours except could I have hot chocolate instead of mocha please.
@Wednesday2000 - a winter light show really does embrace long, dark nights and lifts the spirits. I love a cardy! My Nan advised me to never leave home without a cardy.5 -
I'm in the red weather zone so I'm hoping we have power! I do have cosy candles but we are charging the giant torch as well as some battery packs. Have downloaded some nice podcasts including one about the hazel dormouse which certainly has a cosy vibe.
If the power stays on, we'll be having a lovely lamb tagine which spouse made in the slow cooker yesterday. Also some delicious spiced stewed apples which are part of a marvellous gift from a friend, she is doing keto and gave us all the non-keto homemade food from her freezer.
