£346.34 lighter but Big Cat is now at peace. 😭
We are all devastated. He was the one constant through the last almost 15yrs of our lives. Births, deaths, marriage, divorce, new partners come and gone, multiple houses, jobs too, he was with us through it all, outliving all other pets - it just wont be the same without him. Maybe one day I will bring myself to replace all the carpets that he has shredded, but for now every room has a reminder of him (Little cat doesn’t wreck carpets). Considering he was the one pet I never asked for (I am very much a dog person rather than a cat person and he was technically my ex-husband’s before he abandoned him), he sure as hell winkled into my heart. 💔

So sorry to read about your little kitty, heartbreaking. Letting them go is the final act of love we can give them 🩷 such precious souls.

You and your daughters have your shared memories of him, and in that way he will always be with you. Allow yourselves time to grieve, and be gentle on yourselves. Sending hugs to you all.

I hope I'm not treading on your beliefs here @EatingBeans but I've heard that when the time comes, our pets lead us over the rainbow bridge. Then there are no more tears or partings. Xxx
