2021 not 2001 oops!0 -
Just re-reading my experian report and it says:
Vanquis is marked as settled 29th Oct 2021
AGM is marked as opened 26th Oct 2021 - showing a balance of £641 for 6 months, payment amount and everything else marked as n/a
No default on either Vanquis or AGM0 -
Just an update from me - no response from AGM following the complaint and the SAR.
The SAR month timeline expired so I have emailed a reminder and in 2 weeks will follow up with ICO.
No response to my complaint still - this is due to be referred to the ombudsman 8th May.0 -
Hi all,
I have finally received a response from AG Massey.
They are not upholding my complaint as they have notified me of a transfer via email in August 2024 and within this they told me to contact NCO to sort out payments.
I am not sure what to do now - again so many questions! They bought the debt in 2021. Why only contact me in 2024. Why are there so many different company names involved OMG!
I never receive their emails for some reason - they claim to send me emails and then I don't see them. I am not sure if they are going to spam.
But really - just one email and that is it? That is all that is done!

The email is probably a lie. It is easier to say that they sent one that didn't arrive.
You might as well see what the Ombudsman and ICO make of it1 -
I have now been able to open the SAR data - they attached it as an outlook email so I can open it on my work PC with outlook!
NCO were writing to my old address in 2022 so I never received anything from them - no one ever emailed me unless it went to my spam and didn't see it.
There is a letter from AGM dated Aug 2024 with my correct address on which is the letter they claim to have emailed but I never received this - or it went to spam and I didn't see.
I don't really know what else I can do now - can I still complain to the ombudsman as I have not been receiving any correspondence from them? Is it my fault that I moved and didn't tell NCO - but I didn't know they were acting on behalf of Vanquis in 2022 so how can I inform them?
I will complain if it helps but realistically I don't see any other option than engaging with NCO and setting up payments. Joy.
I wonder if it is worth complaining as I feel like the verdict will just be I have moved and not informed Vanquis. I am exhausted and just not sure if I can do anything else but accept defeat and just set up a plan with NCO.
I am also really gutted as I was waiting on my file improving - this year and next some old defaults will drop off. But this is now a recent thing - the card is old but the missed payments are from last year to now. So I feel like that mortgage is now a definite no go. This has undone all the improvements I have made / waiting on improving. I am devastated.0 -
Never give up, the best complaints are the ones that grind you down, and the satisfaction you feel when you win!!

I have also responded to AGM as I am STILL not able to log on and view the account and make payments! Using the ref they provide with the NCO site - it errors and says my details are not recognised.
It just beggars belief!!0
