2025 - No Craft Spending - We WILL bust my stash and make pretty things!!!!!

I'd like to join again this year. I started some studies in the summer last year and subsequently the amount of crafting I did was greatly reduced. I bought some fabric to make presents for Christmas but this did not happen so I plan to do those this year. I do not need any more crafting supplies, (I am sure I have plenty for the rest of my lifetime!) but will put a limit of £100 and aim for 100 items.
Thank you @craftingmad for doing this again.Stash busting challenge 2025: 0/100 £0/£100 Fashion on the ration 2025: 0/665 -
I'd like to join again this year please. I did manage my 12 makes in 2024, and will go for 12 again.
I still have an enormous stash, some of which was my mums, but did manage to ebay some cross stitch kits which I knew I would never use. I am becoming a bit clearer on which items I want to make and which I can let go.
I did spend money last year on plastic organiser boxes for embroidery threads and beads, and consumables such as glue and thread. I am not going to set a monetary limit, as I will only buy what I need. I have been tempted by card making supplies in the past, but I probably have enough to last my lifetime now, as the number of Christmas cards sent reduces each year.2025 craft items finished 8/12

I’m going to try to jump back in.I have a plan for 200 over the year. I will class things finished, declutterred and diy’ed.I still have loads of house projects and need to reclaim my house and living space from everything that has accumulated. I have too much to ever think I’m going to use it all up and need to get my crap all sorted out.I’m hoping to do at least one small crafty thing each week and one bigger project each month. So far there has been a spend but it was necessary. My meter box door broke and was kindly duck taped by a neighbour. I ordered both of these as the other was also cracked and taped shut. They obviously had to come form different places - so two lots of postage annoyingly. They have been sprayed black as per the frames for them. Which took an age but I already had the paint for this and I fitted them. (Amazed it was as easy as it was).I hope you all get lots finished and have survived Christmas and new years. Xx

And I'm off! 4 felt Christmas decorations for the tree repaired- counting them as 1. Also did a bit more on a cross stitch card that's been sat in my sewing basket for quite a while. I'm going to try to do bits on this throughout the weeks evenings, and then I might have it done by the weekend.

Hi!
I'd like to join again this year please! I didn't do much crafting last year but we did set up a craft room finally. Not that everything fits in it!
I won't set a limit but I plan to spend as little as possible. Instead I need to sort out and sell stuff! Both finished items and also unwanted craft supplies.
I will set a target of 52 makes.
I did some crafting over the weekend using up 2 sticker sheets to make 6 cards
For now I'll count it as 6/525 -
Please could I join this year, took part quite a few years ago, but failed miserably! Last year I donated a large amount of fabric to project Linus but still have more than I can probably ever use. However, yarn is my main downfall, especially when CAL packs are released and I have packs and packs I need to use, so this year I plan to buy no yarn, but to shop from my stash. I also enjoy making soft toys, but have at least a years worth of kits so plan to buy no more until I have used the ones I have, even if my favourite designers release more. I can but hope and try!!
Hope to complete 5 crochet blankets, a soft toy a month and a couple of scarves and or shawls this year.9 -
Oh, this is where we went from the 2024 thread............Yes, I'm in again as I loved it last yearHaving reclaimed my art room space after a serious declutter last year, I decided that I would look through all my organised art drawers and see if I need to declutter any more. I found a few bits. Some which I'm going to sell on and a others which I'm going to donate to the local mental health art group.I'm still recycling my old Christmas cards into new but not being very well at the moment means I loose energy quickly, so not much done art wise in the last 2 days.Hope to pop back in a few days. I will be following along to see what everyone makes
I've used a planner I've had for years to put all birthdays etc in to plan out what I need to do each month. I try and make all cards for occasions during the year and a couple of presents so will continue to aim for that.
I can buy things that make crafting easier but not things just because.
Looking forward to seeing all your makes.8 -
Hi all, thought I would post this photo of the baby blanket, 1st of my makes for the year
