I don't want to start a Sausagegate of my own but have been looking into the difference between the Aldi and Sainsbury's. I'll post this separately from my meal plan.

The Sainsbury's BGTY Cumberland are price matched to Aldi Butcher's Pork sausages at £1.79 for 8 sausages (57g each). The good news for those of us doing SW is that the Sainsbury's ones are 1 syn each but the Aldi ones are 5.5.

The Aldi lean ones are on the SW app but not yet on the Aldi website but Trolley.co.uk says they're £2.49. That's for 6 sausages (67g each) and 0.75 syns each.

If the Aldi price is correct (I'll check when I'm next in Aldi) then they are £6.23 per kg compared with the Sainsbury's BGTY at £3.94 per kg. That's quite a price difference for 0.25 syns!

In any event, it suits me far better to buy packets of 8 as DH and I have two as a portion and I always needed to buy 2 packets to freeze in 4s.

Used the last of the meatballs from the freezer last night @Jellybaby so need to make more at the weekend.😋

My basil plants are looking super healthy (grown on from a YS pot) so plenty of that to add to the HM tomato sauce. They're indoors at the moment but I'm hardening one off to see if it will survive outdoors. It's a bit warmer today as the sun has been out but still a lot cooler than last week.

On plan today but an off plan lunch tomorrow as out with friends.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, scrambled eggs (P), tomatoes (S)
L- LO cold meat, veg and pickles (P,S,F)
    D- Austrian ham hash (P,S,F), greens (S)
    Syns- mustard 1?

Food looks amazing as ever @bubbs. Sausage-gate lol.

Work today. I take breakfast and lunch, eating breakfast when I get in as get there at 8am and don't start until 8.30am (due to train timetable) Anyway I had an issue with my entry fob on Friday as it stopped working so meant I had to come in for 8.30am today. Ate at my desk which I hate doing. Lunch was LO chicken biryani and a banana, with an apple for a snack. Dinner was SW sticky chicken, rice and tenderstem brocolli. Prepped the chicken yesterday so only needed frying off.

A NWD tomorrow for both DH and I and more DIY in DD's room. The end is in sight though.

Another good SW day @Coxy11. 👍

That is a good price for the eggs @bubbs. I'll see if they have them in our Poundland. Milk has been £1 for 4 pints for a while.

Maybe they cancelled last week's appointment because the results weren't all back. 🤔

    🤞 for tomorrow.

    Morning everyone,

Hope the appointment goes well today @bubbs

Good loss @Coxy11 and you seem to be enjoying your NWDs 😀

Ive only been to Turkey twice @maman first time was my honeymoon 37 years ago!

I’m actually in Warminster 😁 been visiting my friend and her DH and leave this afternoon. Mostly on plan as she’s an ex-SW member. Visited a lovely Italian and I had meatballs 🤣 delicious but obviously had oil in the sauce (think my stomach prefers my recipe haha).

    Have a good day everyone.
