Welcome back Denise , i said how lucky you were with the weather.

I know, fancy having a follow up appointment but not the bloody surgery date! They gave us loads of information Thursday but said not to read at least till the weekend as our heads were mashed from then, been looking at it today. It certainly is not going to be easy 😪

I ordered a waterproof sheet yesterday and it fits a treat, so have ordered another one, so i have one in wash one on, might even need to order another, incase the weather is not good,  but least i know i can get next day! Ordered some incontinence pants for him to try on and if they are ok will do a bulk order. Need to go Boots to pick up my script tomorrow and theirs  have good reviews so will pick a pack up there for him to try on, then will decide from there which ones he wants

Welcome back @joedenise glad you had a good break x

@bubbs can DH claim attendance allowance - I’m not sure of the criteria but this could help pay for the pants/pads that he needs?

Food today was okayish. Roasted a chicken and had with Jersey pots, courgette, carrot and broccoli. Was yum. Pack up made for tomorrow and dinner will be spaghetti bolognaise.

Hi Bubbs, just to say I would double check that my friends Hubbie gets attendance allowance and he’s not a pensioner.

Sorry no posts from me in the last couple of days, just life getting in the way!

I have been reading along and more or less on plan. I went dancing yesterday with afternoon tea. I avoided all scones, cream, jam and other non SW goodies and just had a square of carrot cake from a tray bake and an egg sandwich finger to show willing. Fortunately there was plenty of melon so I nibbled on that. I had dinner with DH when I got home so wasn't hungry.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
    L- LO casserole (P,S,F)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), medley of green stuff, roast cauli and onions (S)
    Syns-0

Afternoon all, another bright day here and the threatened thunderstorms seem to have disappeared so hopefully will get the 2 loads dry today.  Got all 3 loads dry overnight even though we had a good shower around 7.30pm!  I also dried another load on the airer overnight.  That's all the clothes done now.  Just 2 loads of bedding to get done but they can wait a day or two!  By the time they've been washed it will be time to do the indoor bedding!  It seems never ending.

DH seems to have caught a cold and can't stop sneezing and coughing.  So I actually managed to shop without him and surprise surprise it was nowhere near as expensive as when he comes with me as I stick to a list and there are no extras like biscuits being thrown in the trolley!

I weighed this morning and pleasantly surprised to find it was only a 2lb gain so nowhere near as bad as I was expecting!  Means I'm now 3lb over top end of target as was already lb over before we went away.  Really hope I can shift this (and hopefully a bit more) before our next holiday in about a month's time!  A month in France.

    Today's plan:

B - porridge, mixed frozen fruit, frozen blueberries - HEB; S
    L - cheese salad - HEA2; S
    D - ham, egg, chips, beans, mushrooms - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - porridge
    Syns - none planned

    Have a good day everyone.

    Afternoon all.

Yes i did check and we can't have pip either as means tested, as he took redundancy/early retirement and got 20 yr payout 😪 so instead of using for what we wanted to use it for it will be used for necessities, which is pretty disgusting when you have worked hard all your life 😡
But hey ho he is still here 😁 so just have to suck it up.

Anyway 2 weeks Weds is op date.

Denise that's good 2lb , i know you would prefer nothing but better than what you thought so bonus

    I'll be back later

Welcome back @joedenise sounds like you had a fab holiday - and not long until the next one 😁

I did a lot of running around this morning for the parents. It’s getting harder and harder and I see quite a few battles on the horizon 😳

Anyway, food has been on plan and I’m treating myself to some homemade lasagne from the freezer for dinner. DS1 knows it’s my favourite and made several batches before he left - he’s not heavy on the cheese sauce but is with the cheeses on top so I’m counting both HEXAs to be on the safe side. I’ll have it with a huge salad.

@bubbs do you think your local pharmacy might be able to get what DH needs any cheaper if you buy in bulk? Im sure you’ve looked at all options, just a thought.

@bubbs. PIP is absolutely not means tested.
